Does anyone know when jumpsuperstars gonna come out in the U.S?

couple things,

wrong section

and it never coming out to the US because it a licensing nightmare, all the manga in jump mag are not licensed to the same company in the US, but rather many different ones.

import it. its definitly worth it and gamefaqs.com has everything you need to under stand it.

Well actually there all licensed by shonen jump, except for bastard!! tengo tenge
tough, ninku and goda gun and the characters in those series arent in the game.

i think he meant that the animes are all licensed by different companies. (the ones that are licensed.

Not exactly... the names of the Weekly Jump manga series appearing in Jump Superstars can be found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jump_Superstars

Viz owns most of them, with the exception of a few that have yet to be licensed, like "Slam Dunk" and "Kochikame" to name a few.

I think the Kenshin anime is licensed by someone else (Sony?) though... so that's probably the only obstacle in the way, license wise. Unless I'm forgetting something important.

So when Viz obtains them all, there might be a possibility, til then outcome unlikely.

Still, its not likely for Viz (or any company) to start buying licenses from other companies and gathering them all in order to be able to realease a game. As good as it is, I'm afraid it might not be worth all that trouble (no offense intended)

What I meant was, Viz is the distributor for the American Shonen Jump(SJ) magazine which serialized all mangas featured in the game. The ones they do not own at not licensed by anyone in the US.

Since Viz is the distributor for the American Shonen Jump magazine, by some agreement with Shueisha(SJ's japanese publisher), Viz should have exclusive rights for all of the manga that have been published in SJ(if they choose to do so). Much like EA.
