Thread: how does jriaya know everything about akatsuki??

well he has spying ability like zestue but who is better??????????
but how the hell he knows about them???????
does he have spy among akatsuki????
also about oro justsu?

Nothing has been revealed about why Jiraiya has information on Akatsuki. I've heard theories ranging from Tobi being a spy for Jiraiya to Jiraiya being an Akatsuki member(that one's nonsensical though.)

I'm guessing he knows about Oro's jutsus because
1. He and Oro are former teammates
2. Oro was in Akatsuki, who Jiraiya spys on, for a while.

Yes he was his teammate.

But just from this he can't know all the stuff he revealed.

Remember.
After the Sasuke retrieval misson, Jiraiya showed up in the hospital.
He knew that Oro got impatient, waiting for Sasuke and switched bodys. And that he couldn't switch for another 3-4 years.

He had this kind of info so shortly after it happend. I bet it was the same day (a few days max)

So where did he get this info from? Surely not from being Oro teammate years ago.

Even the Third didn't know about Oro's body switch jutsu, so we can assume Jiraiya didn't as well.

come on man, 1 of the 3nin, he could've spied on him while playing tennis blindfolded. well ok mayb not, but at least he must've known about the body switching jutsu cos from the flashbacks it was still being created during their teammate years.

how he knows is a mystery in itself. he knew about the akatsuki around before or while the chuunin exam started. I think that is the reason why he approached Naruto.

pls read the manga or watch the anime carefully, jiraiya did some information gathering. DUH!

not even enough info...not nearly at all.

possibility(100% guesses)
1. he got some tip off from oro.
2. he has a very good spy working for him
3. he has a very good source of information
4. he is involve(doubt it)
5. maybe he stick a little toad in itachi's pocket, the toad acts like a homing device.
6. akatsuki member emailed him the info.

ok, here's what you see as a Chainrule of stupidity.
as u go on, the idea get more stupid and stupid. in about 2 pages max, this thread will either die or become another spam thread

he has some spies work under orochimaru...
and some of the members of akatsuki has their own underlings... maybe one of them is jiraiya spy..

*shrugs* I don't know for sure on how he knows, but he seems to be the only person that no one believes could be the Akatsuki leader. I know it sounds kinda to crackpot him being Naruto's teacher and all. But just for kicks let's look at the facts.
1. Jiraiyai seems to get info on the Akatsuki and Oro at remarkable speeds.
2. Go back to the "fight" between Itachi, Kisame VS. Naruto, Sasuke, and Jiraiyai you may notice something strange. No direct physical attack was thrown(between Jiraiyai and Itachi, Kisame) and ominously Itachi says they cannot fight him(not sure on exact wording, but it was something to that effect without giving the reason).
3. Jiraiyai knew about the "black flame" Itachi used, one of Itachi's secret jutsus no doubt.
Only bits of info I can think of feel free to add more.

And now for my theory on why Jiraiyai could be the Akastuki leader. While we assume that everyone in Akatsuki knows what he looks like, we have never had any proof to that fact. Now then we know that Jiraiyai must have a few very strong jutsus, including some Genjutsu I'd bet. Only one problem to that, Itachi can see through Genjutsu with his Sharingan thus he would most likely know, though he doesn't strike me as the type to share that peice of information with the other members. Not only that I can't help, but bring to question the motives seeing as how, we can only assume the Akatsuki wants the power of the jinchuriki, I can't help but think of them like the warriors involved in the sealing of the bijuu. The assumption to their motives most likely came from the comment of one for each of them, maybe they meant one for each of them to defeat(i.e. not just any member has the advantage against any jinchuriki). Anyway just a theory.

I doubt it's Jiraiyai for one primary reason:

If he was, he'd want the Kyuubi. He has had plenty of perfect times to get Naruto (what about the two years training. Jiraiyai could've kicked Naruto's ass and brought him to Akatsuki, but he didn't) but didn't use any of them.
