Naruto 622 is released!

Epic time stalling by Kishimoto. I enjoy ninja history as much as the next guy but for this particular flashback I just feel like its a damn ploy for some reason.
"He is now declaring his words to the WORLD!"
kinda remind me of those old Chinese wuxia movies
"gotta reunited all the kingdom by force so I can stop this fighting..etc etc etc"
anyway this week shonen jump is weak.
I hope I can get Invincible or one punch man.
One Piece was the only good thing this week...in a weak build up kinda way.
"He is now declaring his words to the WORLD!"
I actually liked it. It's different from most of the others in that it's in the middle of a war before the villages and that it actually adds a lot of dimension to Hashirama and Madara's relationship, as these flashbacks are supposed to do, unlike some Naruto and Sasuke flashbacks. At first, when I thought they had only known each other as adults, I thought it simply went: Madara and Hashi meet -> Madara is impressed by Hashi's mad skills -> Madara idolizes Hashi. Now I see that that respect was built over time not just from chakra levels and physical strength but from ideals as well.
May those who accept their fate be granted happiness; to those who defy it, glory.
You hear one lofty, drawn out speech from a child about how shitty the ninja system is because its a senseless waste of life, you've heard them all. The only flashback I want to see from this point on would have to be a flashback that either involves the Sage or his sons. I was perfectly fine with Hashirama and Madara's previously established history thus far as adults. What was revealed to me this chapter? Madara wasn't always a cunt and both him and 1st shared a common ideal to make the world a better place...like most child shinobi.

I too found this interesting- but not because I give a shit about the relationship between Madara and Hashirama. No, what I found interesting was that this was the first glimpse we got of the world before the existence of the ninja villages- this world's very own 'Sengoku Jidai' ("Warring States Era"). Before this chapter we really didn't even know if ninja even EXISTED before the founding of the villages. Hell, we still don't know much about the series' history- pretty much all we know about the period before the start of the manga is that Everybody Was Kung-Fu Fighting for years for some reason and it had apparently more or less stopped by the time Naruto was born (since it never mentioned him having grown up during wartime).
I still find the backstory of the setting kind of interesting, from an academic standpoint if nothing else, if only because Kishimoto has left it so vague and undefined up until now. Couldn't give a shit about the character stuff (although it's interesting, if kinda corny, to find out that Hashirama and Tobirama had a brother whose hair was half-black and half-white) but at least there's SOMETHING here to catch my interest.
The Dream Wedding: My first one-shot Naruto fanfiction.
Naruto: the Secret Songs of the Ninja: My epic "what if" story where Sasuke never survived the battle against Haku.
Top ten reasons why NaruHina will become canon:
7. Naruto saw Hinata dancing naked in a waterfall, and he totally digs that.
10. Hinata has giant boobies.
I wasn't a big fan of this chapter, although I did enjoy how much of a troll Hashirama was.
And my thoughts concerning the third brother: "Hey look, a brother we never heard of! I wonder when he's gonna d- oop, there it is! And by Uchiha no less. What a surprise [trollface]"
