Well it did kind of drive home the point that this is a war where people other than nameless extras can actually die. Shikaku, Inoichi, even Tsunade if she's actually dead, these are members of the old generation and the children surpassing and suceeding their parents (real or metaphorical) is a recurring theme in this series. But one of the original Konoha 12 dying? That's the kind of thing you'd dismiss with "Like You Would Really Do It?" and he did it. Even during Pain's invasion Kishi didn't even TEASE us with killing off any of the young characters- even discounting the fact that Nagato revived everyone at the end, even Hinata was only "badly injured" rather than killed. I really have to admit that I did NOT see Neji's death coming and if it sticks (which it might, or it might not) I'll be even more surprised.

Last page: Hinata gets Kyuubi infused orgasm... that is all.

I just find the image of the Kyuubi sitting on its hind legs and meditating inherently hilarious.

It really is impossible to argue against NaruHina now. I mean, where is Sakura during all this? Even if Kishi isn't writing NaruSaku, she should still be doing more than this. I'd say he's going out of his way to keep her out of the picture, just to make sure there can be no remaining arguments about which girl is meant for Naruto.
