Great teamwork, the only thing that bothers me is how calm Madra is and that he is watching this unfold without attacking. Shika's dad is just plain BRILLIANT.
ah.. the alliance desperate no jutsu... but then again they're doing this till kyuubi knows what exactly to do..

This chapter made one thing blatantly obvious: Ninja make good construction workers.
Well that was... actually pretty silly, to be honest. The entire combined ninja army team up to... throw sand in the jyuubi's eye, drop it into a pit and encase it in instant-quicklime? That was not exactly my definition of epic, even without the knowledge that it doesn't have a chance of working. And of course Obito and Madara continue being a couple of smug pricks who I just want to punch in the face.
Since I don't think I've mentioned it before, I'm going to call what I think happens, so if it does I can say I called it: everything the Shinobi alliance does will be for nothing and Infinite Tsukiyomi will be completed, leaving them all trapped in a giant fantasy world. Sasuke will return from wherever the hell he's gone with Orochimaru, Suigetsu and Juugo, decide he's not having any of that shit and will break the illusion, either on everyone or just on Naruto.
Definitely sounds possible. It doesn't seem likely that the ninja alliance will beat Tobi and Madara before Oro can have a chance to gloat about his role in all of this.
The bad guy ALWAYS accomplishes what he wants before the good guy comes back and kicks his ass, either like you said Sasuke will wake up Naruto or Naruto will break himself out of it with the help of the kyuubi and the other tailed beasts.
