yeah guys, just read the mangastream version, it´s more exact. I really liked this chapter as well. Now I wonder if Naruto´ll talk-no-jutsu Obito as well (who is remineded of himself while watching Naruto already... :D) and how they´ll fight. And how many´ll die...
Seems like it's that time for the manga to switch to Sasuke's point of view.
Madara will be like "Cool, now I do not need to aim. Naruto will have to meet each attack head-on to prevent it hitting the ninja alliance to prove that he will be a hokage and protect everyone".
Obito's indecisiveness makes him all the more pathetic in my eyes. He empathizes way too much with Naruto for the power of speech not to affect him in the end.
O yes I do understand that that cliche archetype in Naruto is highly pathetic to me, that much is certain. Imagine how all this would have been avoided if when Obito saw what he did he had just said "KAKASHI!! WTF BRO!! IM STILL ALIVE!! WHY'D YOU DO THAT?!?!". It certainly wouldn't make the current events possible but it would be the most sensible thing anyone would do in that situation. All that event did was give Obito bricks of false resolve in which to build up his fortress of villainy. We all know our Kakashi is a saint when it comes to his teammates so its obvious he didn't killer her for the pure savagery of killing her, like Obito thinks, and when Obito finds that out (probably on his last breath) he'll laugh and realize how much of a FUCKING DOUCHEBAG HE'S BEEN for trying to enslave the entire Ninja world due to a miscommunication. Hows that for a pathetic end?
You ever read Medicinal Lullably? Fanfic about Naruto having to raise a daughter. Anyway, the writer isn't a big fan of Sasuke, nor is she at all sympathetic to his issues, so at one point they have one final confrontation where Naruto basically tells Sasuke what he thinks of him. It's awesome:
One of the problems with Kishimoto's writing is that he writes tragic backstories for his villains that are meant to make us symnpathise with them that basically make us go "so?" This was the problem with Nagato: oh, you were betrayed and forced to kill your best friend. Boo hoo, cry us a fucking river. Sasuke may have had a more traumatic past that most, but MY GOD he's one-eyed about it- the Uchiha's were traitors who brought their fate upon themselves! And with Obito he's just fumbled it again- oh dear, the girl you loved died. That's so traGROW THE FUCK UP YOU PATHETIC LITTLE BITCH!Quote:
"I'm about to destroy your village and yet you show almost no concern," Sasuke commented softly, trying to get a rise out of the other man—if only to seek out familiarity for his own comfort. Naruto lowered his head and smiled, knowing exactly what Sasuke was trying to do.
"Why would I be concerned about you?" he asked in clear rhetoric. "You're still the same, impulsive child that left the village ten years ago. Apparently Orochimaru gave you power and nothing else. But that was all you wanted, wasn't it? How did that work out for you?"
Against his will to appear unaffected, Sasuke's lip curled above his incisors.
"Don't pretend you don't know," he growled. "And don't pretend you don't know why I'm here. I'm going to finish what Madara started; I'm going to show Konoha exactly what they were asking for when they ordered the death of my family. You will know what pain I went through soon enough when I take it all away from you!"
The demon in Naruto reared at the insinuation that his child was in danger. It was only his rational, human side reminding him that Sasuke would never make it within a mile of the village that calmed him. Holding tight to that cool façade, Naruto patted the area over his heart.
"Oh woe is me; my entire family was killed off..." the skin around Naruto's eyes tightened as he dropped the act. He couldn't stop the words that bubbled up out of his throat; a decade of resentment had finally found its opportunity to come forth. "Sasuke, will you do us all a favor and GET THE FUCK OVER YOURSELF? This is a ninja world, you idiot, everyone has a tragic past! Everyone! Everyone loses their family, or freedom, or life or whatever else they're trying to hold onto. Fuck! You are the most selfish bastard I have ever met! It's all about you, isn't it? I swear—if I have to hear you bitch about your "tragic past" one more time—!"
GAARA'S past justified his actions and he was actually able to get past it to grow up and eventually become one of the most popular characters in the series. Kabuto's might have as well. Hell, Haku would have been sympathetic even WITHOUT his horrible backstory. But the Uchiha's inparticular are just the biggest bunch of whiny, self-centred assholes in the entire manga and by FUCK it's gotten old!
Guys, that´s what makes Kishi pathetic, and not Obito, ya know? He´s always using the same trope/cliché/whatever...
