I am very much lost and will probably need to read that chapter a few times.

I thought the chapter was pretty straight forward, or is there something that I'm missing?

Obito can either phase himself and let the bomb hit the juubi and Madara (madara reconstructs/heals and the juubi is probably blinded), or he absorbs the bijuu ball and leaves his body open for attack(bijuu and madara are fina and could help, but the real naruto can just fire another bijuu ball or let the clone that was thrown with bee try something)

At least Obito and Madara have stopped talking smug shit.

While I gotta admit that having the 8-, 9- and 10-tailed beasts all going at it at the same time is pretty friggin' awesome, I still think the whole idea that the jyuubi could be revived with only trace amounts of the hachibi and kyuubi's chakra is a really dumb Ass-Pull of epic proportions. The thing doesn't have any PRESENCE because it doesn't actually FEEL like the power of the 10 bijuu combined into one all-powerful monster.
