Guys, your analogies...are a bit...nerdy? :P
To be honest, I only keep reading the series because I've been reading it for over 500 chapters, it would be ridiculous to stop now when it only takes 5 minutes each week. Trainwreck fascination at exactly how many more sharks Kishimoto is going to line up to jump keeps it interesting, at least. Also, I'm still interested in seeing the actual end, if only to see Naruto and Hinata married in the "where are they now" epilogue (yeah, bite me if you think it'll happen otherwise).
What really bothers me about this entire last sequence is that the series is wallowing in its own mistakes. If you ask me, the single biggest mistake Kishimoto ever made with the story was the shocking, unexpected and quite honestly completely retarded plot twist that Itachi was actually good all along. Even with the justifications added in this chapter, that shit simply never flew. But the bigger problem was that it completely destroyed Sasuke as a viable character- despite still being a total God-Mode Sue/Black Hole Sue who Naruto's entire life revolves around, he lost ANY sympathetic character traits he had left whatsoever, becoming a whiny, self-centred, unreasonable, childish loser. Even when he'd defected to Orochimaru he was still at least mildly sympathetic since his only goal was the somewhat laudable (or at least understandable) one of killing the evil brother who'd massacred his entire family- but after the big reveal and his decision to massacre every single man, woman and child in Konoha for some undeserved bullshit "revenge" instead, he just became a complete asshole who I'd sooner see die than redeemed. I simply don't CARE about him any more, so every chapter the series squanders on him is one chapter worse.
By the way, did you know that this is chapter 590 and Sasuke has been an antagonist since chapter 181?! That's over twice as long as he was a hero for! And even when he was still a good guy he was never terribly likeable or friendly. Remind me again why Naruto cares so much about this douchebag?
Have to say though, there was one unintentional moment of comedy in this episode I couldn't help but chuckle at, and that was the mental image of Itachi in a karaoke box crooning Whitney Houston.

The Dream Wedding: My first one-shot Naruto fanfiction.
Naruto: the Secret Songs of the Ninja: My epic "what if" story where Sasuke never survived the battle against Haku.
Top ten reasons why NaruHina will become canon:
7. Naruto saw Hinata dancing naked in a waterfall, and he totally digs that.
10. Hinata has giant boobies.
