I think he could've showed everyone's emotions in one page, but, nothing really happened this chapter. Let's see what next week brings up. No report on the Kages, they weren't even showed when they were transmitting the message.

Okay chapter. A waste really seeing how 1) we already know everyone's feelings, 2) we still haven't cut back to the Madara vs. Kages fight, and 3) the konoha ninja still don't seem to get how strong Naruto is. I think Naruto is helping Kakashi and Guy far more than they are helping him out. And now a ton of other lesser ninja are running to "help" Naruto? They need to stay back, out of the way and show respect. That's Naruto-Dono btw and the ONLY konoha ninja that can call him a rival is headed toward him now... Sasuke.
But maybe this is all just a setup for Sasuke. The army heads towards Naruto and while he's occupied fighting Tobi, Sasuke lays the smackdown on the army. Naruto is torn between settling the fight with Tobi or going after Sasuke. Or maybe Sasuke's headed toward the Madara vs. Kages fight. I wouldn't mind taking a slight detour if I were him to see the supposed greatest Uchiha of all time use a Sharingan progressed farther than perhaps only 2 or 3 people.
I hope sasugay may turn the table
and do a good ole massacre
The thing is...I don't think Sasuke will be able to beat Naruto of the 8 Bijuu Fists until he is synced with Gedo Mazo makes use of the 7 Bijuus in it. That is, unless Kishi makes Sharingan even godlier that it already is (he gains rinnegan like Madara).
What I'm interested to know is what happened to Itachi,
Here here.
Nice one, Bledge! I can't believe that one went over my head, like that. Re-reading the chapter with that perspective in mind really made a big difference for me. Sucks that we missed out on Neji's thoughts, but I also wonder about what sort of an impression Naruto left on the rest of the shinobi army. With him bringing about the turning point in the entire war, I think he's set himself up as quite a legendary ninja already!
1) I disagree considering what Bledge said. Really liked that move, there. :P
2) Seriously...the suspense is killing me. I was really looking forward to seeing some true kage-calibre brawling, especially against one of the most powerful shinobi of all time.
3) I beg to differ on this point as well. Keep in mind that he's dispatched tens of clones to every major battlefield. Then recall the hell that the clones raised on the Gaara front. Despite not being shown what was going on elsewhere, I'd say it's a safe bet that the cloak-clones were an instrumental combat presence in addition to the vital support role they played alongside their respective armies (malice detection). Remember how many shinobi saw his battle against the third Raikage? Multiply that out across all the major battlefields, because all those ninjas are now free to back him up on the main front!
You know...this makes we wonder. If I remember correctly, all those shinobi foot prints were making their way towards the shining sun through the clouds, i.e. presumably where Naruto and Tobi are, based on previous chapters while Sasuke is heading off towards a thunderstorm (symbolism, etc) . Based on that, Sasuke glancing over his shoulders, and seeing him depart from Tobi's main staging grounds, it doesn't seem like he's going to neither clash with the armies nor Naruto anytime soon. I'd have to agree with saying that he's probably making his way over to the Kages at the moment (Maybe Itachi, but I doubt it). What do you guys think? But maybe this is all just a setup for Sasuke. Their 'feelings' seemed really shallow to me. 'Ahaha, you're my rival.' 'Ahaha, I'm not fat anymore.' 'Ohono, a plot device is keeping my jutsu from ruining your epic fight.' We've seen Kishi do better 'Everyone acknowledges Naruto' moments, is really what I'm saying.
And yeah, there are still quite a few loose ends to tie up. The Kage battle, the "Carnage about to come to the battlefield" that the last page foreshadowed, Itachi's confrontation with Kabuto -- which, honestly, may end up just happening to end the jutsu at an opportune moment, and, of course, Naruto versus Sasuke.

I understand your points of view, Jaggid and Kid.
"Portraying the other characters' feelings" feels a bit redundant and perhaps time wasting, because we basically already know everything on the topic.
True Madara and Sasuke are definitely meeting soon and kick the Kages. I really hope so.
I fear that we won't see the second part of Kages Vs Madara again until Sasuke arrives, just like we missed Kakashi Vs 7 Swordsmen.
In my opinion, Sasuke still needs to do something really really really unforgivable from Naruto's perspectives: being a missing nin, killing Danzo, Karin and many others is not enough.
Killing Kages and rampage an entire army would do the deeds, I guess.
Killing Sakura would too, and imo it would remove the last bit of doubt about
i-think-we-can-basically-take-naruhina-given
Everyone watch the newest episodes of Naruto!! It details the events right after Naruto's birth and the Fourth's battle with Tobi and IT'S A FUCKING WORK OF ART!

Episodes 248 and 249 came out this week. I've only watched 248 so far so I can't say if 249 is as beautiful, but if they're anything alike then FUCK YEAH I have another 20 minutes of awesome ahead of me. And this is coming from someone who usually finds the anime less than good.

I, too, was watching it earlier. I don't watch anime at all anymore and I can say that the quality here was top notch. This does not make up for all the other shit they put in our faces though. (Pain fight)
Watched the second episode.
I cried like a little girl.
