Thread: Naruto Chp 572 Discussion/573 Predictions

All in all, I thought this was a pretty good read. Not quite as epic as what we saw last week, but the ball keeps rolling. :P

It's always fun to see Naruto's antics, and although I still feel their recent bonding is a bit premature, I'm happy to see Naruto and Kurama messing around on the same footing as Bee and 'Gyuuki' (that's his name, right?). On that note, considering the tone of this chapter, I honestly felt that it should've preceded the last one; the beasts entrusting him with their will, their chakra, and the distinctly sage-like appearance of his transformation would've tremendously propped up the hype for the new Bijuu mode. Instead, I'm now left with this feeling of "Cool! ...erm. What now?".

I mean, he's 'out' of chakra and he's still contending with a relatively unscathed Tobi and a nigh unstoppable daemon path statue. Is he gonna transform into something else? (Highly unlikely) Are Gai and Kakashi going to step up? (Would kinda undermine Naruto's last efforts) Is someone else going to join the fray? (Sasuke? Bah. It's due time they both met each other at full strength). Is it about time for Bee to bite the dust and entrust his own will to Naruto? (TOO SOON, EXECUTUS!)

I dunno. All I know is I'm not quite as psyched anymore.

I don't think he's out of chakra. They didn't do all that fisting for fun, you know.

True. I suppose saying their sync-time is up for now is more appropriate.

Man... gay or not but when I saw baby Bijuus I was all "KAWAIII!!!!" and puking rainbows. Looking at baby Karuma and Gyuuki* politely sitting next to each other to hear their master's words was the cutest thing and my imagination was immediately whisked back to a time I used to watch muppet babies! Cute lil guys frolicking and playing with each other then when the master comes calling they all come running and gather in a nice circle. Haha.

I digress from the cuteness. When exactly was that flashback supposed to be? If i remember correctly the sage was the Jinchu of the Joubi* first then before his death partitioned its power so when he is there in the presents of all 9 was that a scene in their subconacious or something? So now Naruto has officially been deemed as the glue that will bind them all together again, what does that now mean for our young protagonist now? I still believe that Tobi's plan will at least see itself through the initial stage (him sealing all the bijuus) but when the time comes to take the bijuu from naruto instead of killing him will all that fist pumping chakra energy be the thing that keeps him alive or something? We still dont know what son "gave" him (maybe it was the "invitation" he extended before his death to the other bijuus and jinchus in their Great Happiness Space?) So was it the same thing the others gave?

Now we know who the next crew member will be.

Darn, after all this discussion and reading the chapter again a couple times, I got the most depressing feeling that Bee really is going to get killed off at some point

Only problem is Naruto still has no means to get chakra from Shukkaku.

Maybe some of his chakra's left over in Gaara?

Maybe it's because I read through it quickly, or maybe because I was expecting something more epic with the battle between beasts, or maybe it's the countless hours of sleep debt I've accumulated, but I found this chapter pretty underwhelming. I LOVED that most of the jinchuuriki were able to meet up for once in the story, almost a la


even if it was in somewhere akin to the afterlife. But that, and the further implications that Naruto is the reincarnation of the Rikudo and eventual jinchuuriki of the Juubi, don't really feel like enough to end the once mind-blowingly promising Jinchu battle.
