Great Chapter. I smiled at every flashback picture of Naruto winning against the odds

Felt like a summary of Naruto's mentality from the start of the manga which further adds weight to Kishi finishing the manga sooner rather than later (by that I mean in 1-2 years not 6yrs).

Towards the end of the flashback, through to when it flashed back to the clone in present time, high tempo Naruto anime music was playing in my head and I was nearly shouting at the page. Rare a chapter has that effect on me.

So it seems like the nine tales is kind of cheering for Naruto in the last page

Well shit, I was just about to say that this chapter was pretty meh for me (I didnt care much for all those flashback) but then the fastest Flash himselr delivered. This is really a New Year surprise. Hows the wife and babies flash? Lol. You took a family man hiatus from here or something? (Or did you just get out of jail?)

We haven't seen a trick like this from Naruto in a while. I think Kurama's warming up a little too quickly, though.

Warming up to quickly, hell he hasn't liked Naruto since the start. It is about time he says something half way kind of in a sort of way nice. I think even him saying that much is a step in the right direction, besides he is siding with the lesser of two evils.

Flash-backs and Flash's back! Glad to see your tag on the weekly discussion post, again!

Nicely worked out chapter after the 'long' break. Did not expect to see ol' Nice tails reminiscing like that, but it's an interesting character change all the same.

Also, regarding the chains...Son did mention that they're part of the evil outer path (sounds Lovecraftian :P) and a different, more potent version of what Nagato used. The bit about them being attributed to the rinnegan threw me off, though, given that neither Kushina nor (presumably) Mito had the doujutsu, but were able to create similar versions.

So then, are the chains just a sealing technique or are they tied to the Rinnegan? Does the Rinnegan simply create a perverse version? In which case, why bother with it at all? Sharingan seems to do a better job in locking down beasts (Unless it's exclusive to the Nine tails...but remember Manda?).

Lmao, there was no jail for me and i don't have a wife or kids (none that i know about), I just had a new job that I wanted to put a 100% into. But now i've got something better that I'm starting up with a few friends that gives me much more free time.

Back to Naruto.

I didn't mind the flashbacks to much but that was only because it was from Kurama POV. I don't think he's warming up too quickly either the flashbacks show that he's been holding on to certain memories of Naruto and probably wanted to see if he would ever change the person who he's always been no matter what barrier comes his way, and we can see at the end of the chapter that he hasn't.

I really liked this chapter for some reason.

Still, there were 4 pages full of ´em Guess Kishi wanted the real action to start next chapter ^^

Oh, and another thing: Can someone please tell me where he´s going through to get inside Son? I don´t really get the panels/panel order o.0
