I thought Kakashi died once before or nearly die - he did met his father! Will Kishi kill an essential character again after killing/nearly killing him once?

Although Kishi has been incessantly repeating himself lately, I doubt he'd kill Kakashi again or have Naruto go berserk again.

Doesn't mean we won't see what happened. Highly likely we'll see what happened through flashback and/or Kakashi's thoughts.

Hopefully, man, hopefully!

And if we don't get to see what happened in the swordsman fight, then we will more than likely see it in the anime version for some kick ass filler episodes. I imagine there will be a lot of filler coming from this time frame due to all the stuff going on. So much badassery going on all over the place... I can see a long string of filler...

Depends how "final" this arc is. If the manga, or even this story arc end in time we could get a good long burst of canon anime.... Been a while :P

They seem to be in the habit of letting enough story go by to get a full season or so out of canon stuff, but as long as they don't take the piss, filling in some blanks with battle filler would be cool enough.

God, I hope it ends quick. I´d be even happier if a sense of finality would be around Bleach, but it looks pretty bleak for Bleach (get the pun? :P).

Anyway, while I see that Naruto is coming to a close.. I can still feel a good long year worth of more chapters. If the series doesn't end in Summer '12, then it will probably end in Summer '13. I know it's fairly drawn out and such, but I enjoy reading Naruto every wednesday, gives me a sense of accomplishment for the week, I know it's almost over and that I have a weekend coming shortly that I can relax and such. Not to mention, I like to see what kinda of either badass, or bullshit stuff that Kishi tosses at us on a weekly basis.

Didn't you hear about Bleach? The writer intends on keeping it going for at least another 10 years. It's part of why I stopped reading it.
