Whats the damn deal with Gaara's dad's eye condition as well? Hear I was thinking it was an Gaara's enherited trait because of the Bijuu but it turns out Gaara's dad gets them when he used his special ability? Less of a coincidence that Gaara has them now. There was a lot of Magnet users in this chapter but I liked the mechanics behind the way they both used it in their own unique ways.

But since when was Gaara´s father "that" powerful? Didn´t Oro get him killed pretty quickly? Element of surprise, or is he even so that weak?

The jutsu likely takes time to charge. Maybe he sealed a portion of Ichibi's chakra into himself to draw on the strengthen his jutsu since gold is heavier and such. The third did something similar with iron powder. So they could be related. And since it supposedly took so long to pick a kage following his death. I still don't put too much stock in his abilities.

I wouldn't consider Deidara stronger than Orochimaru, yet he was able to beat a Gaara still with Shikaku. Same with any of the Akatsuki. They're just really fucking strong.

Element of surprise would make sense though, in order to keep his death a secret.

Gaara lost because he had to protect the town. If you remember Deidara was attacking the town, forcing Gaara to use his chakra and stamina to protect the village. In fact I think Gaara would have definitely won if they had been on a different battlefield. But hey, a battle is a battle and a kick in the nuts isn't too different from a punch in the face if you're the winner

Also I think Gaara's father was ambushed as you said Blue, element of surprise. Wasn't he talking to Orochimaru before he was completely betrayed? Talking as in plotting. That would make it easy for Oro to poison, stab, or ambush Gaara's father.

Here's to hoping the clones and chakra are explained next week. Retcons aren't necessary and I seriously doubt he would retcon something that was mentioned only a few chapters ago.

You guys have all valid points, I guess we´ll see how powerful he really is in the coming fight!

But that doesn´t make sense.The way I understand it, the more clones he makes, the more chakra he loses to the Kyuubi = instant death if he has 1000 clones!

So either he made a pact with the Kyuubi, or he can control him now. Or something else!

Sasori said he had nothing to do with killing the Fourth. Orochimaru had also already left akatsuki by then.

I am holding out for Naruto losing enough chakra, due to using so many clones, to makes the Kyuubi come out for a bit.... and I might expect that to happen if Madara decides to have the 6 Jinchu's go full beast mode. Naruto wouldn't lose all control but he'll be within the Kyuubi's conscious pulling the strings/supervising if things get out of hand the way Lin did Greed in FMA. Kyuubi and Hachibi would then team up and proceed to have an all out Battle Royale Godzilla style against their sibling Bijuu brethren. I refuse to believe that Naruto will not have any consequences for using that much clones and every major battle Naruto seems to have a more dramatic Kyuubi transformation that the next so at this point, if the situation calls for it, he needs to go full.
