That's exactly what I thought when I read it.
This chapter will probably seem more interesting in a volume format though.

In a somewhat related note: the anime is garbage. But it seems to have verified something about Madara's body. Only one of his arms is Zetsu-made. The other arm seems to be his original because of a difference in color.

This chapter wasn´t bad, if only because the Raikage was in it. And it was also full of emotion <3

Prolonging a story to the point of tedium is just sad.... oh well, I have no creativity so who am I to judge.

I expect it to be the editors' fault that it's been dragging along, and that the war ended up so weak. I 100% believe it's their fault no notable characters have even died, I figure Kishi wouldn't give a damn about a number of them at this point. Most people would be tired of their work at this point, if Bakuman is anything to go by.
