Can somebody explain to me the logic of Tsunade and Raikage fighting Naruto and Bee? Doesn't that weakens them by depleting their chakra reserves?

It's not they were right about go into the battlefield. If protecting Naruto and Bee are priority #1, why wouldn't they?
I would be a complete twist if Naruto f***ing rips the Raikages other arm off!

I can see it to happen only if Raikage makes an ultimatum like "show me you're the man and cut my arm"
