I mean let's face it. These characters are limited to the mangaka's own personal under achievement. Every time a chapter like this comes out with confusing philosophical speeches and a determination with no real destination, I wonder if that mangaka meant to write something really cool but keeps hitting a block with his character.
You clearly don't even understand what characterization means! At the beginning of that paragraph you talk about how the Kyuubi became Naruto's bitch, and in the very next sentence you say there's no characterization for any of the characters? Hell, forget about basic characterization, this is an entirely new bitch side of the Kyuubi we're seeing here.
What I saw in this chapter was just what Blue said. Naruto manhandled the kyuubi and it was mostly a fanservice chapter. There's no characterization for Naruto or anyone anymore so why bother? I like it when people discuss predictions and everything else. It's just pointless to worry about certain manga's characterization after a while. ;)
