Like I said before, I've had more than enough of Naruto remaining an ignorant kid babysitted by everyone else, so this is a welcome change. If he's going to be the Rokudo's successor then he has a lot more to achieve than fighting Sasuke. Hopefully we get to see him take down some of the Edo Tenseis(Nagato, Itachi and the Former Jinchuuriki come to mind) before his inevitable confrontation with Sauce.

Like kwasi, my only real complaint is how Naruto has to depend on Sage/Kyuubi mode for everything because Kishimoto stopped adding to his regular arsenal after the timeskip.

I hope Kishimoto explains those visions of war Naruto got though. Sensing chakra doesn't mean he should be able to make out vivid images from different battlefields like that.

Agree with the first part.
As for the second part: Don´t forget the nins he escaped from were pretty strong (aside from Iruka :P). Without using the modes, it would´ve taken more time to do it...
But yeah, I sure hope he´ll get to use the modes for more difficult battles (won´t happen in this arc, though )

So, who thinks he´ll get captured by Madara and then rescued by Sasuke who wants to kill him single handedly? :P

Yazen was saying that Naruto already had Sage chakra stored in his body from earlier, that's why he didn't have to meditate. Naruto only meditates to gather the nature chakra from his surroundings.

We can assume that Naruto is gathering chakra at any point he's standing still. He's good enough to do that and is probably doing it out of habit now.

I'm pretty sure he had all this chakra left since training with Bee anyways. I don't see how he could've used up his nature chakra when he was focusing on using the kyuubi chakra.

I'm pretty sure he just gathered Nature energy when Iruka was talking to him.

We don't know that though. His training towards the end had him standing completely still to focus on this chakra manipulation.

He cant gather Nature energy and then move, once it's gathered he either stays still or goes SM and he wasn't in SM when he first started talking with Iruka meaning it was done when Iruka was talking to him.

so there are still undiscovered powers in the sage mode ....how come naruto didnt think of going to both modes atthe same time ...it would be normal curiosity even to think of adding these two up

Did you forget that the Kyuubi rejects the Sage Chakra?
And we probably did see a hybrid mode, back then when Naruto faced Nagato with those cross-shaped eyes....

I don't remember it saying that he can't move when he's gathered the chakra already. I know he can't move during the gathering itself. We see a good example of his activation and use of sage mode from the final conversation with Pain.
