Thread: Kabuto and Sasuke

ok, I know this is going to seem really out there but there's been little to no activity going on so I'm just trying to keep things alive here.

After reading the manga for so long and seeing some of the secret plot twisting long term plans being set up by mostly the bad guys in the series, I can't help but think that Kabuto and Sasuke have something going on between them. Both are assholes, and both are pretty good at making plans... when their egos aren't screwing with their heads. Orochimaru knew about madara apparantly before he died, and guess who was with him?

Sasuke's change in personality does seem legit, and kabuto does seem to want to know more about ninjutsu and stuff like that, but I do think that theres a good chanse that Kabuto was serving as a sort of backup plan for Sasuke somehow in case he really did go nuts.

the extra stuff like implanting orochimaru's cells and other things like that were just extra stuff that happened.

thoughts? arguments? random snarks?

maybe kabuto and sasuke will team together against madara. (that can happen only in an insane dream)

Not so much... Kabuto is too much of an asset to be used as a host for Orochi. If he wanted to use him he would've a long time ago. Kabuto is his most trusted nurse and spy. If he needs a body he can take him pick from random, compatible, shinobi (male or female).

I meant Sasuke and Kabuto planned something or made some kind of deal before Sasuke killed Orochimaru. What each gained, I have no clue, but I do think that they did make some kind of deal. They spent too much time together to simply seperate like that without even saying so much as a sarcastic remark to one another.

^ Well actually.. Sasuke sorta made a sarcastic remark before he left.
Kabuto: "Which one are you (in reference to Orochi in Sasuke's body or sasuke beating Orochi in the genjutsu game)
Sasuke: "Who do you think?"

Sasuke never cared much for Kabuto, and as far as we know he never really associated with him. He wanted to train under Orochi and Kabuto was his master's nurse, so he probably gave him the same attention and respect you would for a maid. He does, however, have some kind of respect for him or else he would have killed him the minute he saw him out of Orochi's room that faithful day. But then again back then sasuke never believed in killing people who didn't have it coming.

that's all well and good, but the interactions revealed to us the readers, between Kabuto and Sasuke while sasuke was with Orochimaru were so limited that it is very possible that kishi could have hidden another plot twist between them. nothing between them explicitly proved that they were enemies or allies. Its a blank slate that could easily be exploited.

I honestly doubt that, but I'd welcome it more than gladly, you know. These two are pretty much interesting, if not the most interesting characters overall in the manga.

That being said, what will most likely happen is that the members of the triumvirate will murder each other. They already plotted against each other, so...Yeah...
