Naruto Chp 528 Discussion/529 Predictions
lucky save for darui's part.
so Kakuzu knew the brothers? well that explains why he didn't seem that phased about going against naruto and Yugito after she transformed.
also kakuzu has his masks back... goodie.
we get to see a psycho mini kyubi fight with someone who isn't naruto... who also happens to be somewhat in control of himself? on the evil side? Well this should be very interesting...
it's really interesting....coz Darui already exhausted using the sword and gourd, eventhough he just use it for seconds... the brother's chakra must be crazy, holding it for that long and not even showing any hurt..... how'll darui escaped this one??
anyone noticed the long shadow behind Kinkaku? what is it??
what i meant by Kinkaku's shadow is this one on page 17 http://mangastream.com/read/naruto/80164443/17
that long shadow after he transformed into mini kyubi...
I figure the shadow either traces back to Kabuto or Naruto. Either way its basically a chakra link
is that a shadow or just a really long tail?
i think that shadow is a tail..
he transform while still in the water at the first panel, and then use one of his tail to attack those in the beach at the third panel..
i think it's kind of like when naruto use an elongation of kyuubi chakra's hand when fighting sasuke, only this time it's the tail (..... the tail that would destroy a mountain with one swipe)
but i like the chakra link idea. if all this time they are using chakra directly from kyuubi trough the mean of a chakra link, seeping it little by little at first but now become powerful, naruto must have realize it (and realize the ongoing war).. which could only mean that naruto is/has to be at the battle line at least on the third chapter after this.
if so then i'm looking forward for naruto vs kakuzu 2nd fight. since we've already got 2nd fight theme going on already... kakashi vs zabuza 2nd fight.. kankuro vs sasori 2nd fight

Continuing from the prediction thread,
I suppose I was a little too harsh in this instance.

This I can't agree with at all. I've already addressed the point you raised. Kinkaku doesn't have to worry about the Kyuubi's will, but now neither does Naruto. And Naruto still can't transform even into 1-tail form.

As to who's going to beat Kinkaku now, Darui still has the sword and the gourd, and Kinkaku's still wearing the rope around his arm. All it takes is for him to say 'Ginkaku!' again.
I'M NO HERO, BELIEVE IT!
Naruto can still use shape morphing, but now he has to learn how to control it manually instead of letting the Kyuubi help him out (that's what he was training with Bee last time we saw them, isn't it?). I think he may eventually be able to re-learn some (if not all) of those Kyuubi techniques.

As strong as Darui may be, I don't think he'll be able to take down Kinkaku in Kyuubi mode without help, especially not after having most of his chakra drained by those weapons. I can't think of anyone in the vicinity who isn't already battling against other Edo Tensei summons, or who is strong enough to take on someone with (limited) Jinchuuriki powers. That's why I figured Kishi would just pull the typical shonen "main character arrives in the nick of time" thing.

I think this is the best way to answer the question that's driving everyone nuts so far:
Kinkaku and Ginkaku were both strong enough BEFORE gaining the Kyubi's chakra to not only be allowed to wield the weapons in battle, but to SURVIVE living in the Kyubi's stomach for 2 weeks... if that was actually the case. They most likely did feel a drain from the weapons, however they were strong enough to at least use it in a battle or two without being in any immidiate danger.
AFTER getting out... and possibly recovering from chakra poisoning... their reserves were large enough that they could constantly use the weapons without worrying about drawbacks.
Another thing I want to point out is that a shinobi can be strong as hell and still not have insane reserves. Ex. Kakashi. Itachi. Possibly Deidara and Onoki, and Hiruzen Sarutobi.
I think we're all over analyzing this stuff. That 'shadow' behind Kinkaku is probably just Kishi's way of showing that dude was going pretty damn fast and left an afterimage behind on his way to where he stopped at. Think Power Puff Girls for a second, they would fly through the air so fast that they left a beam of light behind them... I believe this is practically the same thing, if not then I guess we'll find out on wednesday/thursday.
And speaking of the strength of Gin/Kin.. I'm gonna go with that they were on the same level as Kisame. Kisame had an incredible amount of chakra (though we find out that Samehada helped with that), so it's not hard to believe that Gin/Kin were born with or attained a huge amount of chakra over their life time before gaining said weapons and being swallowed by kyuubi. Their story has pretty much been stated already by Darui/Raikage/everyone else that knows them, so I don't think we're ever going to see Kishi write in a flashback of when they were Nom-Nom'd by the Kyuubi. We'll just have to take what was described already as the truth of the matter.
I'm just excited that these last couple of chapters have been nothing but spectacular. I think Kishi will continue to write this stuff and get away from the boringness of training arcs and so on. I'm glad that we finally get to see more of our fan favorites come back and fight some more, whether they are living or zombies, I just want a good (and epic) close to the story and that's probably where this is all going to.
