Correction, he has half of his sword which was broken in Suigestu's possesion. How exactly he got it (cause is was just "thrown" at him to catch) is beyond me. Ressurecting a ninja with his/her previous abilities is 1 thing but I dont think Edo will be able to reanimate their weapons either.

That was pretty clever/lazy from Kishimoto. The only reason why he never introduced any Swordsmen of the Mist aside from Zabuza and Kisame was because they were all dead.

I'm going for clever since pretty much any of those guys look good enough to make an impression on their own (Except for a lone faggot which we only see a head) and showing them all at the same time with motherfucking Zabuza at the front holding his broken sword in "COME AT ME BRO" mode was pretty fucking awesome. I love the mask wearing skinny looking freak.

The start of the war was pure hack bullshit but the minute Zabuza came in, it's getting pretty awesome.

I'm thinking that they will since Zabuza's sword was teleported into his hand. Meaning that Fat fish guy will get his Samehada back. I'm waiting for Kabuto's resurrection technique to also make him a Cappucino and the latest "Ninja News" Newspaper.

All in all i'm loving the protagonism Zabuza is getting over the 7 Mist Swordsmen. And the two bloodline ninjas are pretty slick as well, Kishimoto really went overboard with the character design. Best chapter since the war started by far.

i'm not talking about the fat man that look like a panda. i'm talking about the one next to him, the one with only head shown. he kind of look like suigetsu (just a feeling). if he is somehow related, then he might have the same waterbody ability..

i don't think they all gonna get their sword.. i'm not sure how zabuza get half of his sword though (unless kabuto somehow got a hod of it and attach it to zabuza's or any of the other swordsmen coffin) the rest of the seven swords must be wield by others by now, like hiramekarei and samehada

From what I can tell of his haircut, that is Suigetsu's brother. When Suigetsu introduced himself to Kisame he stated first that he was Houzuki Mangetsu's brother.

As seen from this chapter, he didn't need that sword and used a normal kunai to assassinate people.

All in all I liked this chapter but more Edo Tensei spam just to show the characters that Kishi couldn't fit into the story was unnecessary. It's like... fanservice, but on a larger and more predictably boring scale. The one thing that bothered me was that Kisame wasn't part of the "previous 7." It's pretty well known that Kisame was (or at least inferred) to have been a swordsman before Zabuza.

As for the other swordsman:

- The fat one was Kisame's last master.
- The one in all black looks a lot like Mifune

And if they regain their swords I'll just call Bullshit.

I kind of don't like the fact that the Seven Swordsman are back. Not only does it mean that the good guys have to fight against a new enemy but it means that Kabuto just brought out 7 new strong ninja out of nowhere.

Seriously what next? Previous kages, jinchuurikis or every ninja that was "important" to someone else in the war?

Anyways, I think you guys are forgetting something. Kakashi's entire section of the army is involved in this fight, a good 16-17k shinobi backing him up. Yeah a good number of them are going to be slaughtered, but I highly doubt that they are going to loose that particular contest...

Now if the zetsus or the akatsuki zombies come into play, then we can start to gripe a bit, but for all intents and purposes, this is war. one side of the battlefield can get screwed while the other wins epically. Thats just how things work occasionally.

@kwasi- I assumed Zabuza used kuchiyose no jutsu for his sword (though there's no evidence for it).

edo tensei is bullshit to the max! hope kabuto dies soon. spamming that tech to revive all those uber 1337 shinobi is just beyond ridiculous. seriously... WTF?!! i swear naruto is the champion of drawbacks but yet kabuto and co seem to have none?! it just seems like it was not well thought out by kishi (a bit rushed IMHO) kabuto makes every other ninja look weak in comparison. he makes the legendary sannin look like genins compared to him. he even makes the kages look like regular ninja now. there should be a major drawback to the technique and i hope kishi implements one to restore the balance with the manga pre-shippuuden. kabuto goe against everything that is in the bingo book. exactly how much chakra does this guy really have? how and why would the revived even be able to have their weapons and doujutsus? that should not even be possible! how can the use doujutsus without their eyes??? how can zabusa have his sword if it was taken by suigetsu who's still in the iron country... hey wait, maybe it was flown to him by bird or hell i'm sure kabuto edo tensei-ed UPS to deliver the weapons *end rant*

What a way to give us the 7 swordsmen. I'm not griping about Kisame not being there because maybe Kabuto just hasn't summoned him yet. Anyway it's the PREVIOUS generation, and since Kisame only just died maybe he doesn't count...plus I don't know if you can count Bee as the next Samehada wielder just yet.

But what a plot device. Now everyone seems to either be the "Yeah, more awesome characters!" type or the "Grr Edo Tensei spam!" type. Yeah, it's awesome but personally, it's pretty ridiculous by now too.

On another note though, Kishi giving all of them to us at once means we're not going to get a lot of backstory or development for each, which is a shame cos I'd like to know what their styles were like, and what swords they used (though if they magically get them back...BULL). So they're just our next 3-4 chapter fodder where Kakashi's HUGE group eventually annihilates them.
