Well it appears the summons don't require Kabuto's blood after all. Nor does it need a slab of meat but just blood. I'm really more surprised by the fact Nagato still has the rinnegan despite Madara having. So that blows my theory. I can only assume Kabuto got his matirial from battle sites where everyone bled.
lol
funny to see Madara getting what he wants when he's angry
Maybe because there body still gets damaged.
well, it was impaled with swords from Kankuro's puppets.
Right and wrong it's not what separate us and our enemies
It's our different perspectives and standpoints that
Separate us.
I think you are reading it too literally. The ritual requires a "Live" person as to be a vessel but I dont think its meant to keep the vessel alive by any means. Being used as a vessel for a move of this caliber sounds like it will come at a cost, death.
Pretty awesome chapter. Kishi finally gave us an in-depth explanation of Impure World Resurrection. I refuse to believe that that technique doesn't come with any risk, Kabuto may just be saying so to keep Madara in check by bluffing. I know Kabuto is afraid of Madara's power right now but to be a little bitch and completely submit to his strength and tell him all his secrets cause he ask for it is pathetic and I dont think Kabuto would do it. Kabuto showing Madara all his cards and telling him about his weakness will be the worst move he could make at this point in the game.
"He is now declaring his words to the WORLD!"
^I think Kabuto revealing this much about ET was a trap to make Tobi feel in control and to maintain the apparent power balance. Kishi was pretty obvious about Kabuto's lie this time with the panel of the scroll.
That part was the same as the spoiler. He did stab his own hand initially on the scroll as well.
I hope none of his victims had STDs![]()
The Jiraiya & Shisui discussion is kind of weak. Jiraiya may be in the deep sea, but his severed arm should be somewhere in Amakagure, and Shisui's missing body isn't indicative of anything considering we know Danzo was it's latest custodian and that he would have had enough sense to hide it well or destroy it after having his way with it.
Edit: Oh, and I thought Naruto's hand burns were kind of stupid, considering he could just use more chakra arms instead of even using his hands.

At first glance I thought it was a pretty good chapter, but then...when you REALLY read it, you'll see that we learn almost nothing new about edo tensei. It confirms some of the (really concrete and likely) suspicions we've had: that Oro tried summoning the 4th but failed, and why, that the summons retained their original powers, that you need some part of the person to summon, that you need a live sacrifice to host the soul, etc. Nothing new. And, of course, that it poses no risk to the user, but then again it's not like we thought it did anyway - it didn't affect Oro as far as we saw. In the end I was waiting for that supposed 'flaw' or how to stop it, and...nothing. So beyond seeing the actual ritual, this was actually almost completely useless...the banter between Kabuto and Madara was a little interesting though, though I question how Oro's chakra in Anko will help Kabuto...seems like a lame plot device to keep her alive.
Poor Yamato I think everyone's forgotten about him...
This was a good Chapter. Kabuto is the perfect person to know Edo Tensai. His bloodline ability allows him to absorb people's chakra through their blood. This action also allows him to collect numerous amounts of people's DNA for Edo Tensai. I wonder if Kabuto is able to somehow avoid the potential risks of Edo Tensai by sharing a body with Orochimaru. The guide books state that Kabuto has mostly begun to lose himself to Orochimaru. Perhaps Edo Tensai weakens the soul of the user, thus creating an early death. My theory is that Kabuto's soul is being destroyed by Edo Tensai while Orochimaru's is taking control.
