Naruto Chp 514 Discussion/515 Predictions

Like when I read the spoilers I have mixed feelings on this chapter.

On one hand the fight was great. On the other I hated the plot twist at the end. Until now Naruto's dim-wittedness was frequently played for laughs but it was always made clear that when things got serious he was actually fairly clever and a quick thinker. Now Kishimoto's turned his intelligence into a plot device to influence major events, and shown him to be unable to protect his allies because of his stupidity.

I can understand he needed some more plot-induced stupidity to spirit Yamato away just like Kisame's escape, but having Naruto's friends getting killed/captured under his very nose because he was dumb enough to think he was on an S-rank mission to study armadillo genitalia is bordering on Character Derailment. It's giving me vibes similar to his punching-bag/crybaby/fainting phase from the Five Kages arc. It's going to lower people's opinion of his character and it's just unfair given the intelligence and maturity we've seen from him in such situations in the past.

i just want to point out that there still one rinnegan left.. and it's a right side one... what are the odd

Anyone else find it funny and ironic that Kabuchimaru escaped the same way Sasuke did when he fought off Deidara (reverse summoning from inside Manda)? All the while Deidara was high in the sky about to unleash Lv4?

Are you implying:

A) Kakashi will receive the other Rinnegan?

If so, then no. He has absolutely NO connection to the Uchiha bloodline or Senju Bloodline. As we know from the Sage of the Six Paths, Madara, and Nagato, you must have both to be able to wield the Rinnegan.

B) Kakashi will die and become a "pain" for Madara?

Again, no. That would seriously imply that Madara actually gives a single damn about Kakashi. Judging from his playtime with him when they first fought, no, he doesn't give a damn about Kakashi.

I'd just like to point out, you don't need both Uchiha and Senjuu blood to be able to use the Rinnegan, that's just to use the Izanagi jutsu.

@DVTD: nope... i did implied an if case scenario that kakashi become a pain at the pain arc, but not this time....
this time, since the kabuchimaru freak existance open up many possibility, i just imagining a case scenario where kabuchi manage to steal the other eye and somehow put it on kakashi, of course with his "additional powerup" so kakashi wont be crippeled by the strain of both eyes...

I'd also like to point out that the only people that we've seen to be able to wield the Rinnegan is people with BOTH of those bloodlines. If only one of those requirements were needed why didn't Madara "give" the Rinnegan to an Uchiha that he could've controlled (i.e. Sasuke)?

Simple. The Rinnegan is the eyes of the original sage, meaning you MUST have both bloodlines to be able to wield it.

Ok, so you were writing a fanfic rather than using logic, my mistake.

theres no proof that you need both bloodlines to use rinnegan, even the other eyes byakugan and sharingan can be implanted into anyone........nagato was given the rinnegan because he was someone who madara could control...

^ which that "given the rin'nengan" thing still feels like bs from him. But I guess I'll wait on that. Since nagato was an uzumaki, he had the capability to get it already, it seems........
