^I think you mean he cant save everyone.
I Don't Care
What Has He Done
^I think you mean he cant save everyone.
i think many missed the fact that what naruto trying to do is not to save sasuke's soul (lives), but to get sasuke out of the darkness, (aka hatred, revenge, and so on and so on)... well lately he is trying to get the entire ninja civilization out of the darkness, but sasuke comes first
what i'm trying to say is: even if sasuke died in the end naruto's mission to save sasuke could still be achieved... example: in the end, we get sasuke died as a hero (somehow) while naruto live on as a hero, whom is happy has saved his boyfriend out of darkness, and now live on to get the ninja world out of the dark

i respect narutos thinking though:if he cant save his best friend, how can he save anyone else?
kishi would get a complete 10/10 if he convincingly redeems sasuke WITHOUT killing him...
and killing him would end the uchiha clan, i think kishi might be a little reluctant to do that.
He shouldn't. The whole misguided guy is redeemed at the end has become such a cliché nowadays, I'm seriously getting sick of those sort of villains. Of course, this doesn't mean I want villains who do what they do because they are evil, but villains who do what they do, know what they are doing, are serious about it and have no second thoughts about their actions.
Seriously, all these spoiled villains we see these days...
all it need is for sasuke to fu** sakura b4 he died...
Or maybe the true nature of itachi's crow, which is for the scenario involving the end of the uchihaline, is so naruto can carried his "essence"...
Sasuke should just die some horrible and painful death and have him miserably apologize for all the shit hes done while everyone gores out his innards.
^A bit extreme for a shonen but ok.
And then Guts come in, slap him in the face and yells: "Sit!"
^ Private joke for those who read Berserk? hehe...
Right and wrong it's not what separate us and our enemies
It's our different perspectives and standpoints that
The reason I support his redemption is because of kishi and the 85 different types of mind fucks he put sasuke through. I'm one of the people who believes that people, not circumstancces, determin the action they take, but daaaaaaayum did sasuke get screwd over in the story department. Family gets killed by his brother, gets his ass whooped by that brother several times, finds out that the only/best way to truly beat his brother is to kill his best friend, He spends 8 years wanting/planning to kill someone(already pushing his sanity), gets bitten and infected by a curse(which eats his sanity the more it is active) by a sicko/insane transgendered man(orochimaru stole a womans body) who only want him for his body, trains(this includes the curse) and gets experimented on by said sick/insane man for two years, absorbs said sicko into his body out of necessity, finds and fight his brother only to get his ass whooped, brother randomly dies from a sickness and he finds out that is brother only wanted him to becom strong and clear the uchiha name, then finds out that that his village was the reason Itachi killed the entire clan(even though they were planning a coup. But they didnt even try diplomacy and the only reason they were rebelling is because they were segregated by the senju) then he awakens his mangekyou which apparently makes the uchihas more insane than usual(ripping out siblings eyes to keep from going blind), he then works for the only other surviving uchiha and fights/kills danzou who reveals that Madara/tobi was actually telling the truth(this resulted in the combination of further anger at konoha and the sweetness of revenge which does not equal happiness and sunshine in the mental department), and lastly he finally took his brothers eyes(no telling what that did to him). Lets not even include the fact that the entire ninja system he (and everyone else) is based on senseless violence. You cant expect everyone to handle it as well as others.
My point is this: Yes he has done bad things. Yes he had and should have chosen better options, but no one can sit there and say that he had no reason for doing these things or that his path was unrealistic. I mean if you dont believe that that all thos things werent enough to make someone a psychotic mass killer, then why the hell did hitler decide to kill an ass load of Jews? His life wasnt that bad but he then decided to kill an entire Religious following compared to sasuke who essentially had a crappy life(starting at about age 7) and only wants to kill a clan/village.....at the moment.
