question: is having the ability to control paper is some sort of a mutated/degenerated ability to control wood element??

i got no comment whatsoever about this chapter... my mind is pretty much focus on the last few msn's chapters (even manage myself to reread the whole manga from the start)

As crazy as Madara giving Nagato the Rinnegan sounds, there are questions that haven't been answered that could be from this news. I mean the Huuyga clan are born with the Byakugan, the Uchiha have to obtain the Sharingan, both are still blood related but the Rinnegan just popped up in some random kid.

So I wouldn't write him off yet not until with had a bit of an explanation.

As much as I have a crush on Konan, I want to kill myself when reading those lame flower metaphors. Could someone explain to me what a flower of hope is? Nothing against flower analogies, but they have to make sense. It could be lost in translation, but I want to punch someone everytime a mangaka give its characters' lines that is meant to sound cool but have no coherence whatsoever.

Either Nagato is a miracle child as Jiraiya at first believed in or...After seeing Madara's laboratory, I'd have to say the kid was perhaps a fine subject for his science shit.

As far as we know, Madara's ancestor, the Sage's eldest son, possessed the Rinnegan. The Sharingan is the mutation of the Rinnegan. With that said, maybe Madara figured out something with that...He had plenty of time and test subjects to do so.

The Byakugan stopped being relevant, bloodline and story wise ever since Part 1 ended.

HAHAHA, this is so true that its funny. The Byakugan might as well have de-evoled, watered down form of the sharingan rather than the fabled other way around as it was portrayed in part 1.

So did I, until I reread what Kakashi said previously. He said that it's rumored to come from it. Not to mention it wouldn't make much sense by now. Just think of the Ten-Tailed Beast's single eye. That's pretty much solid proof to the Rinnegan-Sharingan connection, which is most important in this manga. It's all about the Uchiha my friend. Who cares about the nazi-asians.

Also, in general, the Byakugan and the Hyuuga have been neglected and that's not gonna change unless Naruto marries Hinata which has very slim chance to happen.
