Interesting why Madara chose Kisame when the latter - I think - does not seem to be the strongest one in his village. Did he just somehow judge Kisame's potential? No attempts to use sharingan on him, Madara just talks him into joining Akatsuki.

I guess Madara understood Kisame was a guy with no leading direction. He gave him a goal in his life, in exchange for loyalty. I guess it worked out pretty well, because for once Kisame respects the one who demonstrated him all around his life was a lie.

I really liked the line of Bee about how stincky Guy was in seventh gate mode ^^

I guess we have another proof about when a jinchuuriki dies, its bijuu reincarnates. The turtle Hidan and Kakuzu captured was the three-tails, isn't it?
I thought for once that the mizukage looked like Sasori, he looks like so much a puppet under Madara's control.
Hope to see how the current Mizukage booted Madara's ass at the time

Back on Kisame's reaction, I don't really know what Kishi wants to do with Kisame. Is he gonna be able to escape?

It seems logical Tobi had the three-tails to beat up, since he was able to hypnotisze its jinchuuriki. But Deidara did the most part, no?

He will either escape or unleash some SUPER BAD-ASS forbidden jutsu and die. I am hoping that it's the latter.

...We should totally take turns on betting in which chapter Kisame dies guys. I say after the next one.

I don't think that Madara tried to get Kisame to join Akatsuki. I think he just told him about his plan.

Because later Kisame joins Akatsuki on his own and is later surpsised, yet relieved when he discovered that Madara was the one running Akatsuki. Meaning to Kisame, Madara had no affiliations with Akatsuki.

Yup. Kisame is heading down the path that all great Akatsuki members take before they kick the bucket. His flashback was awesome though. I still wouldn't mind it if Kisame dies but at least he didn't die a pathetic death by means of bitten off tongue -_- .

After seeing this chapter with Kisame and Madara's relationship and remembering this I wouldn't be surprised if Madara pulls a Sasuke at the Summit and teleports him outta there (after which of course he'd make a threat to Naruto and Bee then vanishes). Out of everyone at Madara disposal Kisame is his most loyal so it would be in Madara's best interest to keep someone like him. Regardless of what happens to him, death or escape I wonder if Samehada will remain with KB though?
