Yeah sage mode was known for being able to help recover chakra because your using chakra from nature instead of your own and it enchanced the body for speed strength and jutsu. But to my knowlege. it has never had any healing implications.

It was a good chapter but Gai should not be able to win this fight- Kisame is an S-raked MONSTER and he probably has a few more tricks up his arm.

Like the Motoi said, the good guys are showing an incredible amount of (plot-induced) stupidity when it comes to dealing with what should have been a simple opponent. If Kisame himself can drain chakra, why did he need the Samehada so much?

Bee pulled out because he was running low on chakra during the Kyubi taming. And Naruto is stupid so he probably turned off god mode before ge was free.

If Gai ran away from his village he would be an S ranked criminal as well though. Gai should and very well could beat Kisame. The man's control over his gates is genius and grants him freak of nature speed, stamina and strength beyond belief.

despite all the plot stupidity. . .AT LEAST kisame TRIED to send some information back by putting the scroll into the shark, as to why he couldnt just put himself in a shark and teleport through the summon like sasuke did and just have madara teleport and bring him back to the base I dont know. im pretty sure kishi is gonna think of some bs reason.

I mean narutos frogs can summon him to their home, why not the sharks? I thought they were supposed to be like the smartest animals anyway...

but yeah This is Naruto, not as bad as bleach, but not really good enough to be taken seriously so Ill just leave it at that, and just get over the fact that shit will ever make sense here.
