I'm just thinking. the way minato told bunta to hold kyubi for a while because he needs enough chakra to teleport them. I wonder if he was gathering nature chakra.

If only... Though if Naruto had a normal (Uzumaki slapstick) family he probably wouldn't have been able to Hokage. He'd still be a no-talent loser and he wouldn't have the advantages of the Kyuubi to rely on. Then again if Minato taught him Hiraishin he could at least become a Jounin...

As someone said its not soo much sexist but just for the sake of continuing the bloodline. Ninja's are all about their heritage and continuing the cycle so its natural for her dad, granddad?, to say that.

Of course her grandfather was telling her to continue the family line, it doesn't matter what the message was when it was delivered in such a bullshit sexist manner.

I think it's false to assume that he'd be a no-talent loser if that was true. We know that he was a problem child and didn't pay attention in Academy because he was hated by the village. If his parents were still alive, the village wouldn't hate him and he would be more like the normal kids in the Academy. We also know that he used to have problems controlling chakra because of his seal. If he didn't have the seal, he would have had easier to learn jutsu in the Academy and after. We also know that despite the many times he claim to be a loser, he has done things that far outshines any other ninja and not just because of the Kyûbi (he has used wits and of course his Uzumaki blood).

I think it would be safe to assume that if he wasn't a jinchûriki and if his parents were still alive, he would still be an elite ninja and would probably have been respected as such earlier.

I´m not a big Uchiha fan-boy... in fact I think that the best possible thing that could happen in the manga is to have Sasuke and his buddies humiliated and killed, and Madara doesn´t impress me either-that being said a Sharingan does FAR more than just ¨give it´s user awesome perception...have you foregotten about Amaterasu, Tsukonomi, and Susano? As far as Im concerned an Uchiha hasen´t battled unless he whipps out one of these three... On that note I think that it is possible that the reason Madara only shows one eye is that he lost the other one using Izanagi in the battle V.S. Hashirama...just a thought-

No I have not forgotten about those 3 movies but I wasn't talking about the Mangekyou Sharingan just the regular sharingan (that plain ole regular 3 tomoe version). ICompared to regular normal shinobi the Sharingan dominated because of its perception abilities. If you were a fast, evasive mofo the sharingan could see your movements way before you even had time to finish make them, the minute you started making a hand seal the sharingan lets the user perceive what type of technique they are about to use and even let them copy it. Genjutsu? Psshh regular genjutsu can even hold a candle to a sharingan user cause they could see through that shit clear as day. Those were the pioneering sharingan abilities I was referring to Madara using, the typical sharingan abilities we first got used to. But of course with stronger near goldy foes stuff like that no longer gives a sharingan user the edge, so juiced up moves like Amaterasu, Tsuki and Susanoo are the weapons of choice. So I guess what Im trying to say is that to say that "Madara is a sucky Uchiha cause he hasn't used his sharingan much" is kinda off because not only does he use it a lot, he uses it all the time but we just dont realize it! He's a boss at it cause anytime he uses it to fight he always makes a fool of his opponents cause he's an ultra suave perceptive bastard (except for the 4th). That fight between Fuu and Torine was all sharingan perception based.

And I guess its Kishi is implying that everyone that can use the MS can use Amaterasu, Tsuki and Susanoo? If Madara uses his MS and whips out 1 of those techniques then I guess that would officially seal the deal.
