Thread: HELP: Can someone fill this plot hole for me?

umm ok, somethings been bothering me about this whole Jinjuuriki business

you know how the story always focuses on how alone Naruto was and how hated he was by the villagers blah blah blah. ..

but THEN later on (like recently) in the story we get all the back story on how the jinjurikis were so important to their villagers, and then this current back story arc on narutos birth which has the 3rd hokage involved in the shit. . .

now WHY didn't the 3rd fking take care and train naruto from birth if he was so important? yeah I know he was a *sUpER SeKrIt bAbY* but ffs you would think that the third would have taken him under his wing from the start right??? hell, Tsunade is doing the same thing with Sakura! did the Third just get lazy or something? like *oh well yeah naruto has the strongest biju in him, but its ok just leave him alone, we dont need to train him etc etc. . .

fking stupid if you ask me,

so if someone can please present something that can make sense as to why when you have countries like the cloud etc basically declaring war over their jinchu being stolen and searching all over the world making a big fuss over it (yeah yeah bro of the Raikage. . .naruto is the SON of the RECENTLY DECEASED HOKAGE and SON of the thirds STUDENT wtf?) yet no one seems to give a sht (mainly the third) about naruto enough to train him or something. . .

I always thought that the third called Jiraiya in for that purpose but ffs, he was already like 13 years old by then WTF! good job Hiruzen...

I agree... although the 3rd supported him and liked him he didn't openly show it. I could understand the reason why Minato wanted it that way cause Naruto would've been a big ass target (and as we've seen the Leaf SUCK at protecting important little kids from being kidnapped). Having him as the most hated pretty much LEAST important reject kid in a village is a sure good way to keep him off the radar of other rivaling villages.......BUT it was a f**king gamble on the 3rd and the elder's part. What if Naruto was feeling so depressed that he committed suicide or ran away? How were they so sure that Naruto wouldn't have been coherence by the Kyuubi at an earlier age and give in to it's temptation or something?

Coming to find out all this stuff about Naruto's past and such is a revelation within itself. The most hated person in the village is practically an exiled prince! I guess this just makes the idea of him being a Hokage even more solid. He has a royal lineage.

Thats what I was thinking! and I was also thinking, wtf Jiraiya trained three little kids for three months in a war torn age and village and they did just fine! yeah nagato was *special* but so was. . .err is Naruto you d think the 3rd would have been able to spend a couple years training him in secret from birth to be a badass ninja like KB is since he was a jinchu as a kid too... I guess the only real answer would be something the witcher would say: *Becuase it fits the story since Kishi doesnt really plan out this things like ODA does*

It reminds me not to take this manga so seriously as I do with one piece, if ODA pulled that shit there I would stop reading it, Here. . .its Naruto so we already know kishi isnt such a great writer. . .I just guess we expect more from Kishi because there are sometimes when he DOES shine as a story teller...oh well -.-
(I wont even talk about bleach, I stopped reading that pos like two years ago)

I remember that version. The 3rd was pretty much like his older uncle, they were openly close on a super cool adopted grandfather grandson kinda way.

oh oh you guys talking about the pilot? yeah I remember that too. . .but yeah. . .IM talking about the real version lol, especially since they (kishi) ALWAYS talks up how he was so *alone* and all the villagers hated him and how he had no one etc etc etc then he got friends and he got all better. . .

Of course my complaint is . . .now knowing how important the tailed beasts are to a village, wtf did it have to happen like that?

in the beginning of the manga, we never had any idea that the tailed beasts were so important to villages, kishi played it like it was some kind of *oops naruto has the 9 tails inside him* moment ESPECIALLY with that white haired ninja at the beginning begun to play up on that shit too. . .like really dude?(kishi) youre just goign to forget all that and make bijus really important to villages now? give Naruto a lineage blah blah blah and then have the third just keep him at arms length instead of training the shit out of him?

I mean ffs the third was called the GOD of all ninja or some sht like that. Its like saying that the USA has acess to a kind of super weapon but doesn't want to know how to use it so it hides it (not really hiding it) away somewhere hoping it doesn't get out and destroy everything, while other countries are using their super secret weapon etc etc...

makes no sense really, especially knowing the *dark side* of konoha.(danzo)

Sarutobi was known as the God of Shinobi, its been mentioned several times in the manga, it was the guy's nickname in addition to being called the professor, kinda like how Marshal mathers is known as eminem and slim shady, but less crazy involved.

as far as plot goes, don't expect much from kishi. he has the general ideas down, but he fucks up royally when it comes to the smaller details. In reality I can see Naruto being alone despite Sarutobi trying to help him out. The old guy is in charge of a freaking ninja village for crying out loud. The place is bloody huge. Even if Naruto is a jinchuriki, Sarutobi can't just pop out of nowhere every time the kid felt alone. As for the lack of training part... yeah, kishi fucked up the plot there. Even if everyone hated him, unless the council really is like in many of the fanfictions out there, there should have been no reason not to give him a little extra help considering what he held in him.

Kishimoto makes his plot up as he goes along. He hadn't decided on things like Naruto being the Hokage's son, Naruto being related to the Senju clan and so on until hundreds of chapters had gone by. Hence the inconsistencies with earlier chapters.

Could it be that the 3rd knew that Naruto didn't have the right chakra. The same type of chakra was used to contain the Kyubi the past two times. So the 3rd didn't know if he could control the Kyubi or that it was the first time a new born was used as the host.

The third was seen talking to Kushina about Naruto's birth, so he knew.
