Why the Third didn't help naruto? Maybe...

The Kyubi destroy the village, yes? And the people knew the Kyubi is in Naruto, yes? If the Third try to help "shield" naruto, the Third will lose his credibility amongst the people in the village so he have to give naruto the cold shoulder on the surface. Else, the people will say: What the f*ck is he doing trying to protect a criminal!!!?

But, I agree with all of you here. I lost hope in naruto's storyline when Kishi revive most of the ninja during the Konoha Attack Arc. He should just let some stay dead to give the rest of the survivor motivation.

The series starts with Naruto already on his own and no real mention that he was looked after or given any help by the 3rd.

He only looked at Naruto through a crystal ball and once checked out his place with Kakashi who commented on Naruto drinking sour milk.

So basically no one at that time gave a rats ass about the kid. No wonder he was a bit insane.

    1. we never actually see his childhood.
    2. 3rd kage is the one that put that "no talking bout kyuubi" rule... that gotta mean something
    3. if i'm not mistaken i think it was mention somewhere: though backfired, 3rd kage want to make naruto to spend his childhood like any other childern.. meaning: no overspoiling the kid, especially if it will end up raising the question of why??
    4. he got the kyuubi since birth (not like most other jinchuuriki) and he spend his childhood not knowing that... seek reference of dumbledore and harry relation on this one
    5. he already got a small apartment of his own and he grown up to be a somewhat decent kid.... meaning somebody must've take care of him... or are u suggesting that a baby can live and grow on his own without anyone taking care of him???? and if almost everyone on that village hate him at the begining, then who's in charge of taking care of him that time (ps: please don't answer that ramenshop owner...)

He's the only 1 that seemed to even mind talking to the boy without scorn so yea... I WILL say the Ramen man took care of little Naruto, lol. Plus Iruka.

But on a serious note someone, guessing a female, had to have "mothered" Naruto for the first couple years of his life no doubt about that. Im also surprised that Kishi hasn't mentioned or shown any Anbu keeping an eye on Naruto, cause you know someone had to make sure no disgruntle Konoha citizens tried to kill him for the same reason Motoi wanted to kill young KillerBee.

The more I think about it it would've been more agreeable for Jiraiya to have adopted Naruto and take care of him at least till he was able to enter the ninja academy (Jiraiya being his only relative at the time an all) BUT given Jiraiya's nature (pervert and top notch field intelligent agent) it made sense that he couldn't raise a baby.

Perhaps the 3rd had a wife who nursed the baby Naruto and later when she died the 3rd silently got him his own apartment and told him to man up!

There is a reasonable explanation to why Naruto wasn't trained from birth.

It is clear upon Naruto birth and the 4th/Kushina's death that they wanted their child to have as normal as a life as possible. Minato sealed the 9tail inside Naruto not to make him into a complete weapon but just as a backup plan in case the village needed to harness its power. The 3rd Hokage realizing this dying wish respected their decision and did not raise Naruto to be a weapon.

There are other instances where the jinchuriki hosts were brought up trained and the most obvious would be Gaara. If the 3rd Hokage and the elders did not listen to Minato's dying wishes (whether it was explicit or not) and train Naruto to be a weapon, Naruto would have just ended up like Gaara.

yeah dude. . .you need to back this up with l;inks to the specific pages where this was said because I don't remember the third even saying anything besides something like *minato is fighting* or whatever

also, minato nor kushina never said anything about being made into a weapon.

so either show the pages here where they said that or gtfo out of the thread. . .seriously.

(Im only flaming because it seems like this faggot is intentionally necroing posts)

Since we are talking about it, since he knew how important Naruto was he could of given him a personal jounin teacher like he did for his grandson.

It's called freestyle writing. Criticize it all you want, at least he was somehow able to play it off by making it seem like Naruto got far with his own strength and perseverance and blah blah.
