Thread: Naruto Chp 500 Discussion/501 Predictions

spoilers are kinda late this week ? ...we usually get something by tuesday/wednesday

We all harp on Sasuke when he starts pulling things out of his ass and gets power-ups based upon his lineage and not his actual hard work, but Naruto is 10x worst. Naruto has the most going for him in terms of overall hand-me-down strengths; it's quite ridiculous. He even has our boy Sasuke beaten, which is a huge feat in itself.

Kishi must not like to listen to the things he writes, because one of the major themes in this Manga is hardwork. Now he's taking a crap on that by saying destiny is decided and everything you attain will have been from who and how you were born. Everything that Naruto blurted from Season 1 and 2 about how he'll work hard and "blah, blah, blah" just lost most of its merit, and as such, so does he.

Naruto probably only has the kyuubi traits because he was born from another Jinchuuriki, so far we dont know anyone else who is

I believe Gaara was born the same way Naruto was.

So far Naruto has had no one of real importance teach him, besides Jiraiya. Jiraiya started teaching him after Naruto was already bred as a retard.

Also I don't see Minato or Kushina's techiniques being bloodline like the Uchihas. It just seems to be Naruto's lineage are hard workers and keep the techniques in the clan.

Plus Sasuke's growth hasn't been natural. He supposedly took some drugs or Oro juice to gain his power.

Naruto's growth has two elements : hard work + heritage .

His hard work wouldn't have such an impact if he hadn't Kyubi inside him, but still he achieved Sage mode and RasenShuriken because of his guts.
And he'll achieve more things because he will try try try try try again until he managed his move.

He can go that far because he has both guts and lineage.

Genetics and lineage gave him stamina, but it's up to his own build determination that he can use them to their utmost level.

vt dragon is confused, were not annoyed of narutos lineage thing (rikudo senin) because it might *negate* the hard work, (which it really didnt) look at the post I quoted, but because kishi painted the naruto/sasuke friend ship rivalry on DESTINY which is just gay.

vt just sounds like a sasuke fanboy.

False.

His "hard work" and guts were all due to the fact that he had great teachers and unnaturally large amounts of Chakra (which he received from his lineage). I didn't state anything about him being the son of Yondaime, because he never taught him anything worthwhile (except leave him half of Kyuubi's Chakra). Think about it:

- Would Naruto had learn Rasenshuuriken without the Kyuubi? No, he wouldn't have built enough clones.

- Minato left him half of the Kyuubi's chakra, which is still a large amount.

- His Bijuu was given to him because he was one of the last Uzumaki, not because he was chosen, like Gaara.

- Rikuudo Senin's body is said to have housed the Jyuubi, so his natural chakra must have been large. The great Toad Sage also said that Naruto was the boy of legend as was Nagato, who was said to be the second coming of the Sage. Giant hint that both of them gained the sage's will.

I'm not a Sasuke fan boy, FAR from it. However, choosing to ignore facts just because Naruto had enough "guts" (self healing, great teaching, and lineage will give that illusion) to master Kagebunshin, and Rasenshuriken doesn't mean that he did it on his volition. If that were True, we all wouldn't hate Sasuke as much, because he's done the exact same thing. The ONLY thing that Naruto actually completed by himself without any attachments to his lineage was Sage mode training. Otherwise, he's nothing without the Kyuubi, Uzumaki seal, and sage body.

^ Sasuke didn't even need to use any effort to gain the powers he has today, they were all given to him thanks to the writing mechanism known as "deus ex machina". The fact that Naruto had to actually train is enough for me.

Also, Gaara wasn't chosen on his own merits either, he was chosen before birth because he's the son of a kage.

Not sure if you even bothered to read my first post but here, I'll simplify it for you:

Don't get confused; I'm also vexed that Sasuke gets given power ups easily because he's Kishi's favorite, but right now Naruto and he are neck and neck, with Naruto winning slightly. Also, just because we haven't seen him train (which, isn't true also), doesn't mean he didn't. Ya, he took Ninja drugs, and got spoon fed everything, but he did some training. The first time we see his silhouette, he asked Orochimaru "teach me a new Jutsu" or something along the line. The next time we see him, he defeats 100+ sound ninjas without killing them. Afterwords everytime he takes a piss he gains a new ability.
