Naruto Chp 499 Discussion/500 Predictions

Nice chapter. Kishi has really threw some nice surprises at us this year. The Sage of the 6 paths was a nice addition. Loved the way he just locked away the yang of the 9 tails and then apologizes for it. I wonder if this will calm him down in battle a little.

Also if the mom is about to tell him the truth about the 9 tails attack, then what the hell did is father tell him? We know Madara's truth was not the truth but one would think that Minato's truth was the truth, so what could his mom tell outside of her being the previous Jinchuriki. Oh well 2 weeks and counting.

Kushina was the previous Jinchuuriki meaning that she was or could have been the one who attack the village (of course she was controlled by Madara), which would make more sense to how she died, Minato took his own life along with his wife, it wasn't that Minato wanted to seal Kushina in Naruto but more like he had to.

I wonder if we'll see Naruto learn to use sage mode with a hundred clones (instead of maximum three) from now on (and without the Kyûbi's hatred, he can merge with the toads). That rasengan barrage was truly overly powerful. One of the final power boosts perhaps. I assume he will combine Kyûbi with Sage mode for his + eyes in future fights, but I wonder how the Itachi crow will come into place. If he will spawn a third spirit inside his mind and have a discussion with Itachi in the final battle. Or if its some kind of Sharingan counter (but would he need one?).

I really hope that with the Kyuubi sealed Naruto DOESN'T have to fuse with toads for sage mode. I'm hoping he can use the kyuubi instead. It would be so much more badass.

Wow.. I dont even know where to start critiquing this epic chapter!!!!

Well first off, BANZAI to Naruto for finally putting his greatest bully in it's place. I actually kinda feel sorry for the Kyuubi now cause it's all emaciated and stripped of its power but it serves him right. And it makes sense for Naruto to have the Sage Silhouette cause, according to Madara, he inherited the Sage's Body and Willpower, which apparently transended into the "Will of Fire" which Naruto seems to have a lot of. Regardless of the technicalities that picture of Naruto was effin awesome and he fits the bill.

About Kushina being the 9tails Jinchu thing im eager to here the technicalities of it. Im guessing she got it after she got married to Minato (giving credence to Matoi's speach about Jinchu's being someone close to the Kage like a Spouse, child etc). But then there must be some extra intricacies involved because that would imply that she died when Minato sealed the Kyuubi (and as we've seen with the previous 8tails host when the rampaging bijuu is resealed the previous host died too). So the question I just wanna know is exactly how the hell did that transfer process in baby naruto take place?? Next week Kishi you just do your thing. At least he's more creative and surprising than a certain Hyperbolic Time chamber user >_>

And Naruto sounds like he has plans for the Kyuubi or he plans on making piece with it (I wanna see him being kool with it like KB is with Hachibi *pout*). He can now fuse with Ma and Pa but i wonder if he'll find a creative way to have the Kyuubi help him out instead?

My guess is that it was special before. Could be more of a motivator to use her as a container.

I didn't like her being the jinchuuriki mostly because I was really OK with the idea that the kyuubi was pretty much slumbering or roaming free getting sealed.

@Kwasi- The last thing you said. I'm pretty interested as well in seeing Naruto accomplish more things with his Sage Art through the kyuubi instead of the toads

Def has to be before cause she was kidnapped as a little, Genin aged??, gurl. Unless she was the Bijuu since that age, which we should doubt because she was from another village and I cant see a reason a village would pretty much give away their Jinchu (unless Kishi has more ninja politics for us... which would be awesome cause ninja history politics is awesome). And more than likely its cause of her chakra cause the Kyuubi seemed used to those chakra chains and they seem to be quite effective in holding him down.

i knew it... kyuubi has all the knowledge of the past event.. he might even has all the knowledge of the whole world history
PS: is this mean that the seal is not really an original minato... but something that got pass down to minato???
2. naruto: wait...just wait
and now i got the feeling there's something that naruto will do at the end of this whole story that would end all this bijuu problem
like sealing all of them (or the one 10tail) inside??
kushina: i was the previous the kyuubi jinchuuriki.. that's where it all begin
suddenly when i think i got it all figured out, the "kyuubi attack on the village" event is now back becoming blur....

My guess is that her chakra is called "special" because her clan were the most pure bloodline descendents of the Sage of Six Paths (not the Senjuu as we previously thought).

- It would certainly explain why Naruto's chakra and stamina are so huge, as well as the obvious symbolism in the current chapter.
- It could explain why Kushina, someone originally from another village, was chosen as the Kyuubi's jinchuuriki.
- Could it also explain why her clan was wiped out in the first place? There might be people who considered them as a threat, the same as the Uchiha were considered a threat.



I'm so glad that the spoiler was fake, this chapter turned out to be great. I haven't felt this positive about Naruto in years. I loved the Rasengan Barrage, and when his clones grabbed the chains while a lone Naruto stood in front of Kyuubi with a Rasenshuriken, that was pretty sweet. Awesome picture of Naruto enveloped in chakra looking like the Sage too. :D
