It has been said in at least one other anime that fighter's understand each other through there fist, so perhaps maybe. I would like to see som fierce action between evil and good Naruto.

yaay a naruto vs naruto fight.... wait i've seen this before.. alot... anywhere... any manga.. but meh
question: is this mean that naruto 2.0 is who naruto really is inside or is it the kyuubi inside him? cuz in a way i would say that i agree that was naruto. but that was a long time ago..
or is this first training gonna end up with a conclusion that all this time kyuubi is feeding on naruto's hatred toward others especially those who see him negatively...
It could be the Kyuubi... but im guessing its not because as Motoi said this is only stage 1 and he's gonna have PLENTY time to face the Kyuubi later.
What im guessing is that its a physical manifestation of naruto's deepest darkest thoughts. Naruto is friendly and all loving but remember he was treated like shit when he was a child all on his own. The way the evil naruto commented on the people being assholes for wanting his autograph makes it sound as if deep down naruto is thinking "these mofos have some fucking nerve being all kool to me as if they forgot they used to treat me like shit.... i still hate them for the way they treated me". I keep on referring to this page cause I think its the best, most blatant, clue that Kishi gave us as a hint to his training. Before one attempts to confront and "tame" their inner bijuu they must first tame their own inner beast or something like that. Every-time the Kyuubi overwhelms naruto it feeds off his emotions by taunting him about his past and his fears, which naruto gives in to and loses control. If naruto addresses his past and his true feelings (hense its the waterfall of truth) then he can move forward to face the Kyuubi without falling victim to its taunts cause he would have already overcome/accept them.
And i guess stuff like that could explain why KillerBee could have such good dominion over his beast as well. He is such a goofy and carefree guy and even though we've seen him fight seriously and stuff he doesn't seem to harbor much hatred. Could also be why the Hachibi gets annoyed with him cause he's always so loose and calm EVEN when he's near death. The way naruto approached the KB in asking him to train was were selfish and child like IMO so that KB probably though he needed to grown up or be more patient or something.
I hope this fight between Dark Naruto and the real Naruto involves creative uses of kage bunshins that Naruto hasn't thought of. What about the bunshins transforming into weapons? Using Rasengan not as a direct impact, but possibly to manipulate the environment and create advantageous situations. Just a couple of things off the top of my head.
Thats how all naruto's fights are, creative and loose. He's though about, and actually done both of those things you mentioned already. He used his clone to to henge into a shuriken when he just came back with Jiraiya and he even used his clone to henge into a Rasenshuriken. And on the "manipulate the environmental or other advantageous situations" point he's also done that as well. When he fought pein he used his rasengan to amplify to effect of his smoke bombs and helped as a decoy a lot of times. Either way the fight with himself shouldn't be a cut and paste battle. Ever since Kishi gave us naruto vs pein he's raised the bar for his future fights.
who said that there's going to be a fight a la Bleach?
Not at all the kid naruto from the past but the mature naruto we see everyday with whatever suppressed feelings of hate and resentment he may still have within him. That was just something I though could be a possibility while I was hopped up on adderall, lol.
But the more I look at the picture the more I expect it to be the Kyuubi cause the pupil in that right eye of his looks like it. If its the Kyuubi it will still bring up all the dirt about naruto's past to see him squirm though. Shit like him being a loner, him being a pussy about sasuke, the death of Jiraiya, the destruction of Konoha etc. The test is going to be naruto brushing it off or addressing it in a mature attitude.
While it's too early to say for sure seeing he only appeared for one panel, I think this 'dark Naruto'(a better term than 'evil Naruto'; way to be subtle, Kishi!) is a manifestation of all of Naruto's pent-up anger and resentment, ranging from his childhood days to recent events like Pain's invasion and the trouble caused by Sasuke. Just because he doesn't show it doesn't mean there isn't a part of him that has these feelings. This is where he finally lets it all out and deals with them.
