Read it. OK seems to be a good word for this chapter. It's definitely Itachi at the end.
I believe this is all a front to Madara from Kabuto so he can get closer to Sasuke without suspicion. He already stated to Naruto that he wanted to go after Sasuke. I think he was telling the truth then.
It's an Okay chapter
Now I just want to see Sasuke when he sees Itachi 2.0
Nice Chapter I felt bad for Naruto, dude had to eat that worm soup again. The old Sage needs to find away to transfer his powers to Pa because I think his alzheimer's is getting worse lol
Holy junk! 5 summons!

^there's five summons. itachi is all the way to the right.
^ I agree. I'm sure that he's got some neat tricks, but it's obvious from his fight with sasuke that he relied too heavily on his eye techniques. kinda the same way kakashi does too. Kakashi has copied thousands of jutsus but we only saw a few, and that was at the beginning of the story.
although maybe without his eyes he will be forced to rely on his regular abilities and that will make itachi stronger than ever.
Thanks for the post! I enjoyed this chapter quite a bit, and a lot ended up going down.
Kabuto's jutsu confused me, so come clarification would be nice. Is the original corpse necessary for the jutsu or is it just the spirit that gets called back into a reformed host? If the former is the case, then how (and when?) the hell did Kabuto get his hands on the bodies?! Animal realm and Kakuzu should been in the Leaf's custody, Deidara should be in pieces, and Itachi should be somewhere in Madara's cellar. What gives?
Regarding Naruto, I hope 'That Jutsu' ends up being something more serious than a Nine-tails chakra upgrade. However, based on the talk Jiraiya and Naruto had way back, I doubt it'll be anything but. I'm also glad to see that the plot forced him into some form of preparation. Having him lounging around whilst the village prepared for war would've put a dent in his new-found maturity and resolve, imho.

Interesting that Danzo's bodyguards are also part of the 'Shinobi army'. Does that mean they'll be rescued?
1)Looks like Karin's still trying to shelter Sasuke even after everything that's happened. 'I'm done with you' my ass. Just like Kishimoto in real life, Sakura and Karin can never have enough of Sasuke wanking.
2)Kishi's finally regained the ability to write good humour. Tsunade pigging out and Naruto's earthworm ramen were comedy gold.
3)And AT LONG LAST Naruto finally gets a chance to master the power that made him special since the beginning of the manga. The 'Naruto should never learn to control the Fox! Rasengan in enough for everything! Only Jesuke-sama deserves more upgrades!' idiots can shut up and suck their thumbs now.
Though if I know anything about Kishit's writing, this final upgrades will probably also have a drawback that makes it unuseable after one battle. So Naruto will become Hokage with only Rasengan...
4)The last part was bullshit and wrong on many levels. The technicalities of Itachi and Nagato's resurrection can throw the plot off balance(Hey! Kabuto can control Gedo Mazo now! And maybe undead Itachi can counter real Itachi's gift to Naruto?!) and his discovery of Madara and Pain's identities and decision to ally with Akatsuki(when he already controls most of them) make no sense.
Not to mention the gigantic plot hole of Edo Tensei: if it is such a haxed technique(being able to summon anyone, any time with no limitations on the summoning, that too with the revived ninja being able to use all their old jutsus), then why the hell did Orochimaru ever get defeated? And why doesn't Kabuto just resurrect the Sage of Six Paths while he's at it?
