    Default The Genins

There was only the one exam and it seems no one else became jounins after that.

I like the village aspect of Naruto and the whole ninja academy thing is interesting but Kishi clearly dont wanna focus on this anymore. That is what made the Konoha 11 so endearing cause you watched these students grow and actually feared for them when they went on missions.

I just cant see me giving a damn about Konohamaru's generation cause we have never seen any growth from them.

this manga is now about the gay relationship of naruto and sasuke, all the other plotlines are irrevelant.
which is sad, as naruto world had some potential.

What do you mean? The chuunin or the jounin exam? All the rookies are chuunin now, and Neji is even a jounin...

And when do you think would he have the time to show us more of the tests etc...? And the manga is not really about Konohomaru and his generation (even if kids are the future blabla...), itīs about Naruto (meh, not really, but you get what I mean )!

I hear you, but he progressed the story at the expense of what was great character development. Naruto was interesting (to me at least) when they focused on the ninja's in the village.

just wondering, is being a sennin made naruto status as a genin no more?? or does he need to take another chuunin exam?? if he does need to.. could it possible that he take one now?? alongside konohamaru's team

Sennin is a parallel status, I think.
Alongside Konohamaru's team, that would be hilarious. But then again, after fighting Pain and being a sennin, only the leardship's part of the test would be relevant.
It kinda reminds me Killua in Hunter X Hunter who had to pass the test again to become Hunter during Greedy Island part

Anyway, this is the kind of stuff I miss.

I really believe that Kishi should have continued with this kind of story lines.

Now he has reduced Genins, Jounins, Kakashi to shit. They used to be so bad ass!!

^ Well, he probably wanted to get it over with xD And I agree as well, it would have been a lot cooler if these kind of things would have continued ^^

@Bledge: there's a leadership part of the test???... as far as i know there's a psychology part of the test, the teamwork test, the preliminary toward the personal ability test, the final personal ability test.
@RastaNate: i believe you are hoping for a manga from shonen sunday where character development is very crucial... this is shonen jump where adrenaline pumping heroism is very crucial...

Yea, introducing the 'Akastuki-of-the-week' theme along with endless fillers made Shippuden weak when compared to the first part!
