Naruto Chapter 485

Just saw this too. Ehh. I hope Naruto just crushes every bone in his body... too bad Sasuke will get saved by Madara. Meh.

There's little I have to say that I didn't already say in the Spoiler thread.

To summarise,

-Since Jesuke on a good day could vaporise both Naruto and Kakashi as a warm-up exercise he's been somehow stripped of all his jutsus except Chidori so that Sage-less Naruto actually has a chance to beat him with his massive arsenal consisting of Rasengan.. and more Rasengan.

-Meanwhile Naruto has finally found his answer after over 40 chapters of brooding, begging, grovelling weeping and fainting over Sasuke: He will somehow save Konoha without killing Sasuke, which was exactly what he was going to do before all the brooding, begging, grovelling, weeping and fainting. Nice to know all those chapters were nothing more than character assasination, Kishit.

-And now they finally fight. Since everyone loved Valley of the End, this fight is a complete rehash of the same. Naruto gives a monologue about his sad childhood and Sasuke, Sasuke just wants to kill him and they exchange Chidori and Rasengan. <yawn>

-Now Kishimoto has second thoughts about letting his beloved Uchiha lose and pulls some sudden subplot about poison out of his ass. Apparently Jesuke's been granted plot-induced immunity to some mystery poison that Naruto got infected with. AHA! So even without his jutsus no one can beat the almightly JESUKE!

It was not that bad.
Except the Rasengan with clone.
I like the comparison of Naruto, when he says "we could be in the other's shoes"
After all, I felt that Naruto more or less said "good bye" to Sasuke more than "I want to save you, blablabla"
I crave to see what's his true answer is. Eternal genjutsu on Sasuke to stop him?

I'm more concerned with that first whiteout scene. Naruto looks like he put on a redneck's stomach.
The artwork in this chap is really lacking, almost as much as Kishi's plot writing skills. Seriously, I expect a decent fight, or at least someone bitchslapping Sasuke all over the place sometime soon... preferably Itachi if he ever decides to come out of naruto if that's what does happen.

I think it was bad.

Sasuke already said "I hate you" and still Naruto think he's still his boyfriend....

yep, pretty much how I feel about it too.. The naruto part is the most frustrating. I've said it ages ago how it seems Kishi is almost trying his best to make his readers dislike the Naruto character. Pre-time skip this character was infinitely cooler. Where is the character that punched Sasuke in the face when he was in a daze when facing Orochimaru?

if only Naruto was more like Kenshiro.
Sasuke would have died a long time ago.
and we're probably having an Arc about Konoha sending manned missions to the moon
