Thread: Naruto Chp 483 Discussion/484 Predictions

I think I'm the only one who can, at least, try to understand why the hyperverntilation.

Man, naruto always struggled for the fact that he would save sasuke.
He fights pain and get his peace concept crushed, and now he got no answer of what to do.
Everything naruto did after time skip, (and during time skip) were pointing to sasuke's saving.

Now, he sees the whole country wanting his head, and he knows that a time will come when he will need to fight sasuke with no hope of saving him.

DAMN, what the hell would you expect? Did any of you remember that team 7 was naruto's family?
How would you feel if everyone wanted your brother's head? Would you be happy and say "screw it"?


Seriously, after everything naruto went through, It's just expected that sooner or later, naruto would show us some panic attack. That turns his character, despite what everyone says, more realistic.

Although the uchiha tragedy receives much more screen time, Naruto also lost his "family", lost his master, and now, his "brother" becomes a SS ranked criminal. It's not the same kind of trauma, but it's also deep shit. Godamnit, Naruto is a fucked up fella.

The reason I say it's not in his character is because Naruto was pretty aware of what he was gonna have to do with Sasuke when the Lightning nin showed up in Konoha after the Pain battle.

I'll drop the point and give you Naruto hyperventilating over something he knew for a long time even though I don't think it's realistic (in an unrealistic story lmao). BUT STILL! haha.

Kakashi is pop star sure but so was Michael Jackson and Brittany Spears. Everyone around the world knew them even if they didn't speak english.
Kakashi's got style and jutsu aplenty to be known like that. I'm also sure that he was more known as a non-Uchiha with a sharingan. The Uchiha are world renown too.

With Pa and Ma saying he surpassed Jiraiya and Minato I must admit I don't think he's surpassed them in SOME areas but I do believe that he's a better fighter than them now. Destroying Pain should be proof enough. Some may say Jiraiya only lost because he was caught by surprise but imagine Naruto showing up to his entire town destroyed not knowing who is alive. Same kind of surprise and pressure going on. Not to mention he survived a nuke straight in the face from Pain.

Could you see Jiraiya or Minato or even Kakashi (with proper chakra reserves) deciding in a split second to use shadow clones and disguise them as rocks around your opponent. That's fucking genius.

All in all the only thing Kakashi has on Naruto is renown and possibly experience. I say possibly because Naruto's shadow clone training matures his mind too. If you look at him at the beginning of the timeskip to after his shadow clone training mostly everything about him changes.

Naruto has on Kakashi
-chakra, 9tails, skill (my opinion), better charisma (Kakashi has better charisma on women I admit) and bigger balls.

I'm giving up lol, someone else take over and explain why Kakashi is better to be hokage then Naruto at this point in time

On Naruto hyperventilating. I might add something. Naruto was probably tired as well, after Pain's fight.
He trained for several days, tiredlessly (he even did overwork during night time for his secret Rasen Shuriken!), then had a fight where he used all he got. All he got !
Like a marathon. Even if you can walk, speak, think properly after 24 hours and a good sleep, you're not able to do intensive effort for a while, physically or mentally. Your body is drained and needs to replenish.
That's precisely what Kakashi feels everytime he overuses MS.
Naruto had the same crush, not by MS use and chakra loss, but a weakened body state where he fell into the biggest dilemma he could ever think of. I don't think several weeks passed on since Pain's fight.

By the way, Sasuke had the same reaction when Madara told him about Itachi. Weak state, he collapsed. You may say it was closer from his fight than Naruto's case. You're right.

Now, we have Sasuke still running his marathon... Good luck for him. I can think of only a bite on Karin or Madara/Zetsu intervention. Or Naruto's Itachi's gift (would be weird)

Simple reason: Naruto is too emotional to be Hokage, let alone a leader...

on Amaterasu: It cannot be stopped once it starts burning. Which is why even a Kage as strong as Raikage had to cut his own arm.

I said that aswel that's why it didn't get to me so much when it happened to Naruto.

In the long run Naruto would make an excellent candidate for Hokage but bottom line I dont think he should get the position so soon.

Reasons:
1) He is currently being hunted so why promote him as the prominent figure head of a village when he should be laying low

2) As I stated before he doesn't have full control over his Bijuu. Yes the 4th talked to him and resealed it but that doesn't make him less susceptible to going berzerk when his emotional state is rocked in battle. As a Hokage, especially when the Kage is fighting to protect his village, its an extremely hectic moment with the lives of loved ones and villagers at stake. That kinda pressure would surely send naruto over the edge mentally. And since naruto almost went full 9 tails not too long ago thats not something there're gonna want to worry about with their Kage doing.

3) Hate to sound like a broken record but naruto isn't in the right emotional state of mind. He's got to come to a realization that sasuke is a threat and sever ties with him cause even though he's the Ghandi of the ninja world and we know he'll convert sasuke in the end if he keeps up with his passive attitude towards sasuke's actions like he's been doing people in the ninja world are going to see it as a sign of immaturity and naivety. You know when he hit away Gaara's hand during his last confrontation Gaara was probably thinking "*sigh* grow up naruto, yall aren't kids anymore".

4) As someone already stated (I cant remember if it was here or another forum) he has yet to become a leader himself! He's still a Genin who hasn't had the opportunity to take younger ones under his wings and lead them in the field. A Jounin's/Officer's purpose, like in all military backgrounds, is not only to train and guide younger ones but to help foster critical decision making skills within themselves and prepare them for future leader subordinate roles within the military establishment. If naruto hasn't had the opportunity to lead a simple 3 man team then why give him a shot at leading a whole village??? He's still a lose canon that acts irrationally, yes its his unrestrained and unpredictability that helps him win fights but its a quality unbecoming of a good leader outside the realm of battle (thats imho). People need their leaders to be strong in the face of danger yes, but they also need someone who they know can make mature decisions for the better.


Those are my reasons why I dont think naruto should be hokage right now and not why he wouldn't be Hokage anytime soon. As we've seen the 3rd became Hokage promptly after the 2nd's death and he looked around the same age as naruto and company are now. Right now there're on the verge of Ninja War so kishi could very well have naruto be Hokage if sasuke manages to kill Kakashi now. I wouldn't agree with it, for my reasons, but if it happens w/e. Naruto'll have to seriously buck up and get himself together by then.

I do not think that is necessarily the case. He could use Sage mode without the clones before. The clones are just a way for him to maintain sage mode longer. But I was inquiring about this earlier. Sage mode is suppose to be 5 minutes max, but he seems to be holding it longer now which is cool, but still has not been determined. If he is holding it longer, that is going to give him a major advantage.

Was it stated that he could just hold it for 5 minutes in general or was it said during the battle with Pein?? Cause i honestly cant remember. The reason it seems that he can hold it longer right now could be because all he's doing is running and jumping and using his nature sensations to track Kakashi versus when he fought Pein using multiple Rasengan Techs and Shadow clones. Sage mode runs down faster when he uses alot of techniques, which he isn't doing right now.
