Well, if Naruto wins over Sasuke (Witcher, don't forget Sasuke used all his hax powers, and even Madara said Sasuke was almost blind) in the current situation, it would give an excellent reason for Sasuke to take Itachi's eyes, and stop saying BS like "I don't want my brother's eyes, I respect him too much (hey dude, you're doing the exact opposite of what he tried for half of his life make you do), and I would be overpowerful" lines.
An excellent reason for Sakura to get involved and killed (heroïcly) in the process, hence giving Naruto the motivation to get his ass out of his sofa and never hyperventilating for 10 chapters again!
I would like to see this plot, but it's very likely it's a "wet dream" of mine. Again ...

epic fail kishimoto, epic fail. totally irratonal behaviour from all parties in this chapter. imagine being stabbed by your teammate and still having honourable flashbacks about that said person. the kunoichis in this manga are extremely dumb! maybe kishi has never even had a woman in his life, he represents them so pooly in his manga. oh and i been waiting sooooooo looooong to see lee and co. fight but somehow they were all caught off guard by a sleeping bomb... hmmm imagine this is the generation that surpassed the legendary sanin.... konoha is in really deep shit... a sleeping bomb give me a break dude... after all that training... a frickin sleeping bomb!!! weak shit man... just weak

Man, it's completely pointless for sakura to join sasuke.

I Always liked sakura, and I was ever hoping she would show us some super-unexpected-badass fight since part 1, and my wish were almost satisfied in chyo + sakura vs sasori.

Please sakura, punch 'im in tha face.

Man, about the sleeping bomb, remember, Sakura is a medical ninja, she should be able to mix some hax herbs and kill 'em all if she wanted to.
We should remmember, this manga is about Ninjas. Ninjas were supposed to use poison, stealth, disguises, smoke, rooftops, and so on.... even if a kunai have NEVER worked on this manga, it still about ninjas.

Hah, I knew Naruto's fainting was going to be geniune wussyness, and not the result of some kind of Itachi link as many of you guys were predicting. The baby couldn't handle a few conflicting ideas that should have been obvious to him, this is the manga's hero folks. Gutsy ninja indeed. More like gutless ninja.

I'm disappointed that Karin is still alive.. It's hinata all over again. Kishi keeps on being reluctant to kill off likeable characters, and thus he loses more credability/realism for his manga each time. Bad form. I'm guessing Karin will be saved now... Kishi may redeem himself if she still dies though, but I'm not going to hold my breath for this.

As for Sakura's plan.. As many of you said, it's pretty absurd. She's too untrustworthy to Sasuke at this point. While she did offer to go with him when Sasuke left Konoha for the first time, it's obvious that she's not the same person this time. Heck, at orochimaru's hideout Sasuke was about to kill her, if not for Yamato.
She's going to get herself killed with this gamble, and rightfully so. But if Sasuke welcomes her, I'll find it unbelievable, since even as an unstrustworthy hostage, she's useless to him.

The more I read of this manga the more I'm convinced that Kishimoto's marriage was done via one of those traditional Japanese Omiai(arranged marriage meetings), because he has no idea what love is. Sakura, Ino, Karin, all stellar examples of Kishi's view on love!

^well traditional Japanese marriages are based less on love and more on practicality than western marriages...............

oh yeah, i want to echo the dissatisfaction with everyone getting knocked out by sleeping gas. This must work via inhalation, otherwise you've got one of the most powerful things in the naruto world right there.

The characters can't hold their breath? When Sasori used poison gas on Sakura, she just held her breath, but for some reason Sai sees the bombs on the floor, but decides to take a deep breath anyway? That's pretty damn absurd.

... about the marrage thing. You guys do know that roughly half of american marriges end in divorce right? In all acutality blind marrages work better because the couples spend more time learning and getting used to each other as a whole then blah blah blah you get the idea.

As for Kishi's view on love in the manga... yeah, he's as hopeless as sakura is.

Ok i have just two questions. How the hell can Yamato not hear wood being cut through with a knife of all things when he is an anbu sitting 6 feet away. And why is Sasuke wasteing chakra to use chidori on karin when he could just use his sword?
Does he get off on feeling blood and organs?

Sakura would be flustered and acting like a stupid fangirl with some undecided unresolved determination that one would expect from someone who is looking to blindly follow you. Not showing up suddenly with angry determined eyes.

It's the same shit with Naruto. She shows up looking all determined and basicly orders Naruto with no passion or love in her voice. I love you Naruto. Insert random ego boosting words. Now stop chasing Sasuke and focus on me.. See shiny pink hair. Don't you want to follow the shiny pink hair?

Then you have Kiba and lee. Not a moment ago Sakura is ready to knock them out. Yet they get hot headed even worse than Naruto would jumping Sai and letting Sakura gas them.

And on the poor quality. Young Sasuke's face is exactly like Sai... Next why was Karin not killed by Danzo's explosion when it's obvious neither of them saved her?

in all i would say this chapter is too rushed, below average...

what's wrong with kishi? he know how to make a great story but doesn't know how to tell it.

PS: hopefully sakura'll got killed by madara (i kind of get the feeling that he is the one she really after)... and after that, sasuke will kill madara... and then naruto will blame sasuke for sakura death, while sasuke will blame naruto for not stopping her... in all the last sasuke vs naruto fight will be "personal".
PPS: sasuke is starting to make his own harem... a possibility where sakura heal karin
