Yeah, but i doubt he'll have any real, incurable effects of this damage. Maybe it'll be mentioned that his sight is slightly worse, but there is no way he gets his guts fucked beyond saving, or that he'll get a significant eye defect.

I would laugh if it really happens and Sakura finally decides to use Chiyo jutsu to revive Sasuke. Impossible is only a word right? At least it would make Naruto really angry

Back to the chapter, and your comment, Danzo seems to manage the fight and his ressources pretty well, even if he will be worn out

Bah this fights taking too long. We just got off of 10+ chapters of Sasuke attacking the summit and now we're in another long Sasuke fight. Everyone agrees there's too much Sasuke. I've said it before and I'll say it here, I really wish Sasuke would've killed Danzou right at the beginning and shown Danzou was just a washed up has been that's too old to do anything, where it comes to ninja skills. I have no problem with him being crazy smart, because that's what got him in the position he was in, but he's a walking billboard to at how much the Sharingan has now been overused and how the Sharingan is now the biggest, most important thing in the manga, not Naruto and the nine tailed fox.

I agree that Danzou is too powerful but its gotten to the point in this fight that he's soo powerful that I wouldn't want sasuke to be able to kill him. Sasuke killing a super-powered Danzou would be too much and would send him on an ego trip in my book.

So to recap the baddassery of the Uchiha's mighty Sharingan.
Amatersu = Ultimate Ninjutsu Black flame
Tsukiyomi = Ultimate Genjutsu (at one point in time)
Susanoo = Ultimate Taijutsu
And now Izanagi = The Ultimate ULTIMATE genjutsu.

Chances are Madara's previous "death" was due to Izanagi, it would make logic sense seeing as how he has one eye. Its is a pretty handy move but for the average Uchiha, with only 2 eyes, its risky and shouldn't be used likely. If Izanagi is the ultimate ultimate genjutsu then judging by precedent Kishi is going to have it's counterpart, Izanami, play a role as well. Its been a minute since sasuke used regular moves. By the end of this fight sasuke's eyes better be halfway busted. That fool's been going all out since the beginning.

Damn its a shame that the first person we've seen with such mastery over the wind element is about to die at the hands of sasuke -_-. Naruto could make good use of wind techs like Danzou does cause Danzou himself seems more like a close - mid ranged fighter himself.

And is Izanagi a genjutsu? Not a ninjutsu? Would a genjutsu revive you? Or didn´t I understand the mechanics of how it works...?

I wonder if Izanami comes into play as well...I´d say that´d be too fuckin much, dammit

Izanagi is a Genjutsu that alters reality. So all those times that sasuke has been killing Danzou he really did kill him, but the tech lets Danzou's death, as seen by sasuke, seem like an illusion. Danzou is the only person who could use such a hax ability like this so skillfully cause the average person would have 2 tries vs his 11.

Naruto Chapter 479: Izanagi

Wow. That was quick.

1. The 'cliffhanger' at the end was nothing. Given the shot of Sasuke's genjutsu eye it'll probably just result in another genjutsu outcome(Izanami! The evolution of Tsukuyomi! Jesuke surpasses Itachi again!)

2. While it was nice to see this chapter feature more conventional ninja techniques instead of the usual 'My Sharinghax is better than yours!' I was saddened by how many opportunities Kishit's squandered to develop Naruto's ninja skills. Since he'd already made his precious Sasuke the master of two elements what was the problem in giving Naruto a couple more wind jutsu like Danzo's? Especially given his weakness to ranged attacks? With Sasuke gifted a flying summon I'm hoping he'll change his mind but that's just wishful thinking.

3. I'm not sure about the 'nearly blind' thing. Considering Sasuke's used the Mangekyo roughly four times more than he had in the 8-tails arc he should have already started noticing the effects in the Danzo fight(with his opponent attacking from a distance). I have a feeling Kishit changed his mind and slowed down the progress of the Uchiha blindness('No more, my poor son. Besides Itachi had to wait several years to become blind...').

i think danzo gonna win this fight.. but b4 he gives his final blow, madara take sasuke someplace else... or madara take danzo someplace else. in any case madara will interfere.
i wonder what happen to the manipulative bitch all this time?
