Ok, that is the first time where Sasuke legitimately pulled a jutsu out of his ass, Sasuke's summons were all coming from Orochimaru's techniques when he absorved his soul, all of them being snakes, besides that he never once showed any proficiency in summon techniques. None of his teachers taught him out to do it. Orochimaru did snakes and Kakashi did dogs.

Even Madara is wondering when the hell he learned it.

Cool cliffhanger though. Obvious genjutsu is obvious but cool non the less.

That's what I said in the other post. I think it's like the 4th's stipulation on Naruto. In this case Sasuke does a certain something or runs into a certain type of chakra/genjutsu and he'll appear. As far as the hawk summoning, kind of makes sense since his group is named "Taka" BTW, just because he hasn't shown it does not mean he never learned it. Kishi has constantly shown that Sasuke was training but never focused on it.

It may be silly to the lot of you but it makes sense to me because a lot of time passes between with the traveling and resting and recovering. So you all may not like it, but I see this as a build up of Summoning battles which I don't think is used enough. Frog vs. Hawk. Bring it on.

My theory on Danzo is this: Think of Hidan and his 5 hearts. One would have to crush each mask to kill him. Well with Danzo it's the same thing only in reverse. The eyes are his lifeline and you can kill him physically as many time as he has open eyes. Once they are all shut, he's gone. That's what I think.

Sorry but that means jack shit.

Sasuke *never* summoned a single animal in the story besides Orochimaru's snakes which weren't his in the first place and there has been plenty of situations where the eagle would give him an edge instead of snakes. The Deidara fight especially, where he used snakes as a substitute for ropes when he realized that the battleground was full of mines.
