Naruto Chapter 476: Sasuke vs Danzou!

I can't understand Kishimoto. Either he's developed a deep resentment towards Naruto or his love towards Sasuke has grown so much that he's willing to sabotage every other character for his sake. I mean, weren't the last few chapters worth of Naruto sulking enough? Or the begging and groveling before that? What's the use of showing what's essentially the same thing again and again? Like I said in the spoiler thread, this is blatant, intentional character assassination. And why is he suddenly sweating in the snowy weather?

From the looks of it a Sakura/Konoha kids vs Sasuke confrontation may be planned, giving Kishi yet more opportunities to glority Jesuke in battle. The only silver lining there would be the possibility of Kakashi joining in.

And I really hope it´s not just the "emo-ness" of it all... Perhaps a reaction from Itachi´s crows?...Improbable, but I just want to see a sparkle of hope for Naruto

The more I think about it, the more I think Kishi is continuing the parallel between Naruto and Sasuke.
After Itachi's fight, Sasuke had a moment of weaknesses, bodily and mindly. He had crisis as well, but got out with strongest resolutions ever, it seems.
I hope the same will occur with Naruto !!!

But yeah, without an explanation, I agree with your argumentation, and I must agree as well with (I think it's) Ivanov when he says in the spoiler thread that it can come out of exhaustion. How much time did he have to rest from Pain fight.

I quite liked the sasuke v danzo parts, but the Naruto segment was just downright frustrating.

This is another example of kishimoto giving Naruto ill conceived, overly dramatic responses. Just like when he punched his dad, or when he begged the raikage, or when he took a beating. You can see that kishimoto wants to convey that Naruto is in turmoil, we get that, but he seems to feel the need to spell it out to his audience and goes a massive step too far by having him faint.. This makes Naruto look: a) Stupid, that his brain can't take the dilemma put before him, and b) Weak, he can't take the emotional weight of the situation. But you know what? Naruto is in a ninja world, these circumstances may be big deal for us, but for ninjas it should be second nature. Also, Naruto hasn't been suddenly bombarded with any particularly startling revelation, so his response to it is way too overblown. The biggest thing he was told is that the konoha kids plan to assassinate Sasuke. Not only should he not be surprised by this, but he should have already considered this eventuality as well, since it's a fundamental policy for a missing nin to be assassinated by the village he came from.

^ nah, I'm thinking it's something else. He was clutching his chest as he fell, so it's one of two things:
kyuubi or Itachi.
Unless Naruto feels pain every time Sasuke's hate bubbles over now.

......Sasuke uses susano like he used his cursed seal now, even though the recoil is much higher. oh well.

it's all very well hoping that there's another reason for why Naruto fainted, but the fact that we just saw several flashbacks the instant before he fainted clearly indicates the premise of the fainting.
Now, you could say that Itachi's jutsu was triggered by Naruto coming to the decision to kill Sasuke for example, but I think that's wishful thinking.
