It's believable, but it wasn't pulled off very well if emotional overload is the case. It feels OOC for naruto to just faint. It just feels too dramatic for that character.
Sasuke fainting: It's expected.
Naruto fainting: makes him look like a wuss.

- I think it's too dramatic for either character. If you've emotionally handled a fight to the death and had the force of will/clear mind to do a last second massive summoning/genjutsu while a person turns into a nuclear weapon in-front of you? Being told that your late brother actual "Wuvs you very much" isn't going to effect you, or in the very least isn't going to be something you let on is effecting you. It's highly doubtful that you'll be standing on the rocks, tears in your eyes, blubbering like a baby by the sunset as your followers watch you.
Naruto on the other hand cries at the drop of a hat. A ninja gives him a Popsicle and he's sitting on the swing with snot running down his face. The first time Naruto ever encountered a violent assassin in the comic he nearly fainted. He steeled himself for the whole Pain fight, but he kinda had to do it. It's not like he had time to go sit on his swing...besides I think Pain had blown it up.
He cried because over the depth of the past few chapters(remember all the flashbacks from various stages?) he finally realised everything Itachi had been through for the last ten years. He was crying over his brother's fate.
Naruto may be more emotional but hyperventilating over the mere though of Konoha hunting Sasuke is OOC even for him. Kishi could have just left the matter stand and sent him off to Konoha or wherever; haven't enough chapters been spent on his brooding over what to do with Sasuke? The end of the previous chapter with the '...' was the limit. Then it got stretched to breaking point with this chapter's fainting spell.
I'M NO HERO, BELIEVE IT!
Don't think I really need to explain it now others have seem too.
