Thread: Naruto Chp 476 Discussion/477 Predictions

Sure looks like it. While Kishi throws in all these fine pictures of Sasuke doing his thing, he has Naruto once again just stand there, with a collapse as the cherry on top of his uselessness.
I could use another break from Sasuke to be honest. Hasn't he had enough spotlight already? He's been on one giant fighting quest ever since he got rid of Oro. Just recently he battled against Bee and the Raikage, and now he's gonna get Danzou. I mean come on, enough is enough.

^ Hmmm... you know wat.. i really dont like sasuke getting to fight all the time but i guess it makes sense that he's getting mroe fights than Naruto. I mean Sasuke IS public enemy number 2 (after Madara) on the run right about now so he'll have more people against him. Naruto on the other hand is living a nice and clean life. Naruto needs to go rouge like Sarah Palin or something . All we're gonna have to hope for naruto is that we get to see him more through training arcs so when he finally meets up stronger people he has alot of stuff to use and surprise us with. Thats the best we can hope for i guess.

I wouldn't be surprised if he's having an anxiety attack, Naruto is going to need some f'ing lorazepam by the time this arc is through.

Little Naruto dude is going through changes, by next year he'll have come to his senses, be training to get stronger and listening to everyone gripe about his new jutsus limitations. I am very much looking forward to him using Sexy no Jutsu on Killer Bee, and getting slapped down for it.

I remember a few days ago I actually had a nightmare about the Naruto manga. I dreamed that in the latest chapter Kishimoto finally addressed the issue of how he seemed to be deliberately limiting Naruto's development as a ninja. Through Naruto's dialogue he admitted that his inability to master any technique other than Kagebunshin was disproportionate compared to Sasuke's successive jutsu handouts, but alas, followed it up with a 'F*ck you fans' moment with Naruto grinning idiotically and saying outright how he won't even bother learning anything and just keep using Rasengan.

Nice and clean? His village pretty much got wiped off the map recently. He's the reason for this new ninja war because the bad guys want him. Sure, their numbers are small because they die off like flies, but I wouldn't call it nice and clean.

It's just because of how Sasuke acts. Look at Oro. He was wanted, but nobody got him because he had hideouts, where he was waiting for the right time. Sasuke on the other hand feels the time is now, and is going for his targets. Of course he's easy to find.
What's even worse, the thought "maybe I'm not strong enough. I should train first" doesn't even cross his mind. He goes right to the kage summit and starts fighting. But does he get his ass handed to him, like he should? Course not.
Which brings us to the last chapter. Have you ever seen kishi draw Naruto like that. I don't think I have.

... wait, you had a naruto dream? doesn't that warrant some concern?

anyways. yeah. It does make sense that Sasuke gets more fight scenes, being an overemotional emo powerhouse (that's like, three oxymorons right there), but making Naruto emo and seem pathetic from just hearing about Sasuke after that fight with pain where he saw Hinata nearly die in front of him, saw his home reduced to a hole in the ground, hear that kakashi's dead and find out who his dad is and come out just fine, is simply just ignorant, stupid and annoying.

Just a huge disappointment this chapter.

First in showing how Danzou really is just an over age fool with delusions of grandeur who's a better leader than a ninja now and just having Sasuke one shot him (which he was shown to do until Kishi decided to get into another genjutsu battle). I mean come one, the sharingan arm has got to be probably the worst idea in the whole manga right ahead of giving Danzou a sharingan. This whole battle is going to be more of a wank-fest for the almighty sharingan than anything else.

Second would be Naruto's reaction to everything. Unless there's something else going on with him (Itachi's power, the key, whatever) there can be nothing good that'll come from him having this reaction. Even though Naruto probably has the greatest fight in the manga (him vs. Pain up until he killed the last body) he's had exactly one good fight the whole second half of the manga (Pain). While Sasuke has had at least 3 extended fights that lasted more than 5 chapters with another one on the way with Danzou.

I really don't get the point in still calling this manga Naruto when you keep lobotomizing him for stupid reasons.

Actually he does get his ass handed to him just like he should, but he was saved. Just like with Bee he was saved. Sasuke is strong, but he's reckless and that is going to hurt him in the long run. Someones not going to save him in one of his fights.

I just wanna see sakura versus sasuke. for all possible reasons.
And someone really needs to die from the konoha kids group. I'm not kidding.
And one thing I hope is that we won't get the whole itachi-sasuke illusion battle all over again. I remember how much THAT dragged on.... God knows how long this one will be.

It seems like kishimoto has problems multitasking: he's unable to move groups of characters or develop different plots at the same time, which makes everything else that is not related to the plot he is concentrating on...sort of out of place (time-wise).
In conclusion, I'm surprised that even knowing this, he still makes the decision of TRYING to control and move all these small groups around: sakura and co, naruto and co, which will actually split in 2 groups, then danzo and co vs sasuke, killer bee fight and .....well, all the rest of the kages. oh, and tsunade who seems to be unconscious for quite some time and makes no promise of waking up since kakashi needs to prove himself as the hokage at least temporarily, so I guess kishimoto will just ignore the problem and leave her like that until christmas 2010.
