I think it is to prevent other Eye users from seeing it.

The Byakugan dude saw only the eye under his mask but could prolly not see through the lead metal (like Superman) that the man is collecting Sharingans in his arm.

More crap like this will force me to stop reading this manga. Now the Sharingan is in other parts of the body too.

Wont be suprised if Madara came for this arm or wants it to replace his arm that he lost!

Well, i certainly wasn't expecting that....if it weren't for Kishimito's boner of massive proportions for the sharingan, this would actually be cooler.

Danzou's bodyguards are pretty cool regardless of their defeat against Madara (Which is to be expected, even if they manage to take one arm off) although it's still just bad from Kishimito's to show new stuff from Abirama clan and the Yamanaka clan's through other character rather than Shino and Ino.

Either way, short and interesting fight.

Still, gotta enjoy how Madara said to Karin "You're a girl in this series, so you better get the fuck out of here"

Anotehr two cents of mine. What if Danzo can exchange the eye in his eyeball from one of his arm?
Let's say any Sharingan eye as a special tech, a la Mangekyo Sharingan tech. Just like the one we saw in the summit, from Shisui's

Danzo would have in his arsenal all the special Uchiha's techs (except MS and EMS techs)

Nope. The 3 tomoe sharingan is a sign of maturity and its usually rare for people to achieve it at the young age that Itachi did (him being such a Uchiha protege baddass an all). All the members of the Uchiha police seem to have their sharingan fully matured.

Although the fight was short Madara really handled himself like a smooth criminal. He's slick and evasive, kinda like how Orochimaru likes to fight.

Only not as disgusting.

But yeah, it's actually pretty similar, while Madara just lets the blows pass over him and attack or grapple accordingly, Orochimaru lets himself gets sliced to pieces and then fights with the remaining body parts.

Different methods but similar "light as a feather" battle evasiveness. lol

... i think i know why Danzo didn't immidately collapse after revealing all his eyes. the arm is supposedly orginally shisui's right? So technically maybe the arm reduces the overall drawback a bit...
