I think Danzo is more evil then Madara

As 1000 master said on the first page this is a good time for Tsunade to wake up. Danzou literally got the tittle like wat?? A week ago and already theres gonna be a new Hokage?? Although Kakashi would make an awesome Hokage I dont like that idea so much. It'll be better if Tsunade comes out of her comma, as it will exponentially raise the moral of the Konoha people during this disastrous time and help make sakura more emotionally stable. Not to mention Kakashi is like the new-aged Jiraiya, all they wanna do is be left alone so they could mentor the younger generation and read perverted books and mac on sexy ladies all day !! If Tsunade comes back she wouldn't be fighting fit but she would still have her ever so commanding and annoying big mouth!! Kakashi's a laid back kool ninja that gets serious when it matters so i'd hate to see his personally shift more to the serious side, cause we all know that'll happen if he becomes a Kage (especially right about now since War is Nigh). Tsunade has more of an air of commanding superiority about her....I cant believe im saying this but i want granny back!!!

Likewise, I don't agree at all that Kakashi is full of himself when he talks about being Hokage; you have to realise that Gaara had just finished telling them all about the Kage Summit, which included the part where Gaara suggests Kakashi as Hokage, and then the Tsuchikage comments "ah son of the white fang". So Kakashi is just responding to that, not that he's got a big head all of a sudden and is nominating himself. Also considering the chat Jiraiya and Tsunade had, Kakashi was in line for Hokage anyway. It would annoy me much more if they seriously suggested Naruto as Hokage at this point. Thankfully, Gaara was talking about Naruto being faithful to his ambition of being Hokage, rather than actually suggesting he should be one.

I know that the conversation in this chapter was for the purpose of storytelling, but I think the way they keep making Naruto into such a simpleton is making me dislike the Naruto character more each time. Every time they say something in this chapter, Naruto says something like "huh?" or says something very naive, and then everyone else has to explain further. Characters have always done this, such as when they were explaining the cycle of elements for the benefit of the reader by having Naruto be ignorant about it, and it's evident here again, Naruto sounds like an idiot for being so clueless all the time. Kishi should really start using another dynamic of getting his story points across that doesn't make naruto look so lame.

They will probably choose Naruto as Hokage.
He may be dumb.
but he have charisma (the "YOUR NOT ALONE" them) to convince the other villagers and kages

Since there's no new post, I'll post some random ideas related to the chapter or in general

I agree with you, Naruto is not very smart. To be more precise, I think he doesn't make the effort to think by himself more than being dumb. Still he can cast ingeniosity in battle, hence the paradox.
He looks dumb when it comes to speak with others in conversations like the one in this chapter. He looks awesome when he comes to speak to people to raise their moral.
He looks dumb when someone explains him something in training, and still awesome when he comes to apply it.

Still, some things point out that Naruto is not ready enough to become Hokage yet.
I'm not referring to the fact that he still a genin, as he showed he can lead people with their heart.
Too many things imply now that Kakashi will be the Sixth Hokage (Danzo has not even be accepted by Konoha's jounins) instead of Naruto, and the way Gaara is talking to Naruto. And danzo summed up them very well.

But, I do believe that Kakashi will pass on the role to Naruto some day, like the Third to the Fourth or like the Fourth to the Third in the case Kakashi dies in battle.
Because it looks more like Kakashi doesn't want it but he will for the greater good become Hokage, and as soon as he can give the lead to someone else, he'll prefer to become the new Jiraya as someone already said !
To sum up, I think it's more like a situation like: After the King died, someone is taking the throne before the prince is matured enough, or something like that.

Another thing, but I don't know if it's a prerequisite to become Hokage (apparently, not for Kazekage) : Naruto should be teacher first !!! (hence becoming jounin, etc...), Jiraya like

I think Danzo is more evil then Madara

With all the background we have now, indeed Danzo looks more an asshole than Madara. As we can imagine now on what kind of person Danzo is, Madara is still a mystery to me.

@Witcher : I can't agree more with you on the fact that Naruto NEEDS to blank his mind and focus on developing on several aspect. That's the very conclusion he came before Sakura's false confession, and I hope too that Gaara convinced him to go to the Time Chamber for a little level up session, oups KB+SM+Kyubi training

With Gaara's flashback, I didn't remember Sasuke looked so miserable. He still has some road to become a convincing "Dark Knight" or Shinobi I'd rather say ^^

Wow... i've been trying to wrap around the verbiage to express that but you said it perfect. Naruto is still too fricken Naive that i cant respect the man yet. Im liking him more and more as he matures dont get me wrong but he still has to get over this sasuke hump dammit! Yea yea i know "but he sees him as a brother and he believes in never giving up and he's the protagonist yadda yadda yadda yadda " but man you all HAVE TO ADMIT, its fucking annoying that when someone brings up sasuke he always acts so depressed. He always sulks as if he's hearing about sasuke's behavior for the first time! Im not saying that naruto should be all like "fuk him im gonna kill him" (although that would be nice ) but i mean its been 3 years and naruto STILL acts like he doesn't believe it to be true and still doesn't put responsibility on sasuke. I was hoping Madara's last convo with him would be more of an eye opener, which it was, but at the same time i didn't like the way Kishi had madara contribute sasuke's behavior due to "destiny" and when he said "i'll MAKE you fight him regardless" just takes away from sasuke's actions being self driven. I think the convo he had with Gaara would be his best motivation and would arouse more determination since Gaara is his age and a Kage. For once I actually like sakura and her resolve.

If Kakashi becomes kage i wonder if it'll be Naruto and Tenzo who'd be his bodyguard ?? Prob so eh?

the thing is.
If Kakashi becomes Hokage.
Remember that Naruto can't become Kakashi's bodyguard
since the war was all about protecting the Kyuubi and the Hachibi.
and Naruto will be standing along side of the war instead in it leading his troops.

As Annoying as it is Naruto hasn't seen anything from Sasuke he only hears about it, his eyes wont open until he sees for himself.

As the saying goes.

"You are young yet‥but the time will arrive when you will learn to judge for yourself. ‥Believe nothing you hear, and only one half that you see."

we all know that naruto's immaturity is all because kishimoto wants it that way. any normal person would have changed his mindset a long time ago if they were in naruto's position. yes it's frustrating at times to watch/read but we all still do cuz its all part of the bigger plan. for instance when we see naruto act all naive and silly/stupid we get all upset and disappointed but yet when he does something that seems totally mature and smart like the way he fought against pein we were all shocked and awed by his improvement thus insuring that we still love naruto for being naruto (unpredictable that is). it's been the same theme all through the manga since its inception.
@black flash: in the chapter it looks as though someone got blasted some distance from danzou and co. is that madara by chance? if so, then how is it that they actually hit him since it seemed almost impossible for anybody to touch him so far. also it seems that danzou was also present when the uchiha massacre took place - maybe that was where he killed shisui and took his eye and manipulated the other uchiha to believe that it was itachi who had done in his best friend - just a theory
