To me, the only two explanations I can think of,consistent with the fact that team Raikage found it Killerbee so soon are :
    - KB is still near Lightning country. Where does Sabu leave after all? We don't know, but they do know each other from a certain amount of time, by the look of their dialogue. So Raikage and co were going back home to say to the people to serarch for KB . The sensor type ninja must have been on the alarm all along the travel, and Kisame+ KB using enormous Hachibi's chakra quantity did the rest.
I think it was Krazykwasy who said something along these lines, but with the battle occuring far from Lightning country ^^

    - the second explanation I can come up is that Kishi is screwing the storyline in terms of time, because all the actions do not take place in the same vicinity of time. When we read the manga so far, we assume that every scene occurs simultaneously with the other. That's why we think Naruto is still in the Iron Land for 4 days, the time that KB was found by Raikage.
For Naruto, 15 minutes in the manga occurs, for Raikage several days. Idem for Ao, less than one day was spent, etc...
The current thread shows (to me at least), that we can't assume the scenes to be simultaneous, or we fall in incosistency. That's the way I think Kishi wants to describe his story(line). Taking that as a basis, I don't think anymore that Kishi is screwing up his storytelling, he just gives the details in an unchronologistically manner

(there are still inconscistency I can't explain to myself, but hey, that's manga )

@danzo: dude this is a forum to disciss naruto and everything in the narutoverse. you don't have to answer my question if you don't want to. yes this manga has unbelievable shit in it -- that is because it is fiction after all. nothing is wrong with wondering where samehada came from. we all wonder about stuff from time to time. you mentioned the frogs and enma - well those are mythical beasts that are summons and they were explained as such and have been accepted as normal in the manga but this is a freakin, sword with a personality, and also kisame was one of the famous seven swordsmen of the mist village and he was hyped up with his sword as a bijuu without tails. we all wondered about hidan's abilities and they were explained in the manga as well. but there was no mention about samehada's origin so i was inquisitive. you ask questions about lots of shit in the manga as well, and while i may not like some your questions, it is your perogative to ask them. please do not ever think you can dictate what i can ask and what i cannot. to me samehada is a sword unlike any other in the manga and i was just curious as to its origins. just because it is fiction that does not mean it should not make sense in some way. ppl love this manga/anime and they even print databooks for it and we all use that information to base our arguments on as well. get off your high ass horse dude. this is a forum for discussion after all. we all know its fantasy.

So I was right when I first said that the jutsu Kisame tried to pull off was just a bigger version of Suikoudan no Jutsu - Water Shark Missile, and he only said Suiton Daikodan no... he never got the chance to say jutsu, so im pretty sure he's dead.

man that sucks for kisame tho, who woulda thought that the word jutsu was so important...i always thought that the hand seals and chakra molding were more important than the words. oh well i will miss the shark-man and his cool voice in the anime. hope bee keeps samehada tho

Sooooo..... in other words Kisame planned to die with his guns blazing?? Thats an offensive move right? I figure when Kisame saw the Rai man and KB restored he'd cut his loses and try to high tail it out of the situation but according to that jutsu he was about to use he STILL wanted to fight.

R.I.P. Kisame. May your body will be chopped up and used to make soup or other sharky good entres. Hmm... hopefully Kishi would have Zetsu (as he's the one who "eats" the body of the dead Akatsuki members) remark on how much he's been dying to have a task of Kisame's sharky goodness. lol. And yes it seems highly likely that KB is samehada's new owner but i wonder if he'll be able to fuse with it or if Kisame was special in the sense that he was a half shark himself or something. Then theres the idea that Samehada wouldn't be able to fuse at all because fusing with Bee would mean "sharing" his body with the Hachibi...

"He is now declaring his words to the WORLD!"

heh, nothing against theorising over things. But you worded your original post as if there must be some unique reason why such a thing such as samehada exists by saying "i'm still waiting to hear you guys' theory on where samehada originated from".
And I merely pointed out that it isn't really unique at all to warrant you pressing for an explanation, nor is there anything similar about it to come to any substantive connection to something else we've seen.

Kishi may yet make some origin story for it, but at the moment, there's nothing to show it has or needs one. At this point it could be anything. Example, why is samehada different from a 'mythical beast'? Because we didn't see it return in a puff of smoke? Well, we didn't see the raccoon get sent back either. Or maybe it's because it's a weapon? Well, enka was a weapon too. Because it fused? Well Naruto fused with a frog too. See my point?
A whole load of things in Naruto aren't explained, and even those things that you seem satisfied with aren't genuine explanations either (e.g mythical beasts, jaishin, etc.). It's entirely up to the fleeting whim of kishimoto.

yes, it's your prerogative to ask the questions that you want, and it's mine to answer however I want, which includes quashing the ones that I think are redundant. If you disagree, by all means, you're welcome to state your case.

hey kwasi kisame get a horn from samehada!! but as they say a horn is only a horn when you take it on.
@danzo: naruto neva fused with a frog. he simply took on too much sage chakra. i was never satisfied with those explanations - just satisfied that there was one period. i just wanted to hear other people's opinion on samehada - plain and simple. as for redundancy samehada has not been discussed in this forum as much as let's say naru/hina or naru/saku or even naruto vs sasuke or even which jutsu is most powerful and even the most popular topic here - naruto's progress/jutsus and their limitations. so your calling my plea for someone to tell me their opinion about samehada as redundant was really uncalled for in my opinion. i wasn't aware that they made you the mod of this forum.
i also agree that it is up to kishimoto to make something of it in the future. earlier in the manga we always got to see the key players background history thru a story arc of some sort like zabuza, haku, kimimaro and others. to me kisame was a key player in the narutoverse and he was a popular character too. just wanted to know more of his weapon that is also very unique and special according to the last few chapters so i asked for people's take on sssssaaaaaaameeeehaaaadddaaaaa

    Team Gai/Kisame fight - Chapter 260-261

that should give you at least one plausible reason why Kisame is still alive.

Would love to know more about his 'general' look. Is he a fish man from Atlantis or some kind of mutation from a village experiment or from the chakra whore to give him that grey complexion with gills?(before he actually turned into a shark hybrid)
