You hit the nail on the head with this one. Konoha needs to loose some battles. And not the whole loose the small battles but win the war type stuff, but the ones that are lost through mistakes like Anbu messing up.

I say again this KB vs. Kisami battle is up their with the Hokage vs Oro. It should be at least 2-3 more good chapters of pulling recoveries out of their ass type stuff.

And on the topic of bare chested Akasuki...well that just falls into the category of old school Star Trek and the Red Shirt's. You always know who's gonna die. It's been nice knowing you Kisami. Wish we could have seen you fight Guy just one more time.

Looks like Kishi's taking his shark team to the extreme. Logical as stingrays are related to sharks. It'll be an awesome weapon.

I wonder what kind of attacks Kisame is going to utalize in this form? I dont think kube is going to make him all berzerk sharkman like just biting stuff left and right.

Nice chapter. Kisamehada looks like something a kid would draw, but Bee's version of Naruto's 6-tail transformation was great. Plus he seems to be able to use a few of his Bijuu's abilities even in normal form(like Gaara).

It really seems like Naruto is the only jinchuuriki there who can't control his Bijuu. The price of being the rival to Kishimoto's adopted son...

I wonder how the countless morons who keep arguing 'KYUUBI IS BAD! NO KYUUBI FOR NARUTO! RASENGAN IS ENOUGH!' are feeling right now. They must be desperately hoping for Kisame to win this fight. Which doesn't seem so likely now that he's lost his Akatsuki cloak.

Well to be fair, all the jinkurichis were sealed using different methods except for maybe yugito and be. I mean Gaaras would just come out if he fell asleep(IE worst sela of all).

how messed up! the tails-beast cloak got eaten, but Bee lost his own chakra? Stupid.

It's not like Akatsuki (the bad guys) will prevail, but I want Bee and his "cool" ass got owned.

keep in mind if kisame didn't lost his cloak we'll never gonna see his sharkman body form (which is a cool form)... and it'll be a little sad if kisame lost here. it's like akatsuki has reach their limit... they keep on falling one by one. IMHO either it's gonna be a tie or kb went down cuz he don't go all out.

The posts from 'No Kyuubi' tards all over the net are amusing and infuriating at the same time. Some claim that Kagebunshin+Rasengan+Rasenshuriken is a better combination than Kyuubi. Others argue that given Naruto's lack of skill in ninjutsu it's better for Kyuubi to control its own powers. And at this point people who still believe a Kyuubi-controlling Naruto would have no more challenges in the ninja world(including a few on this board) should get themselves checked for mental problems before posting.

I've got no problem with Kagebunshin, Rasengan/shuriken and Sage Mode. But why can't Naruto have those and Kyuubi? It'd be a natural progression, with Sasuke inheriting Itachi's MS techniques. Else give him the Yondaime's other legacy jutsu, the Hiraishin.

I just hope all this teasing of similar-to-Kyuubi jinchuuriki abilities isn't just an intended slap in the face from Kishi to Naruto fans('You wanna see my Sasuke's rival control the Kyuubi? Eat your hearts out chumps, all this is what will never happen to him!')

I think it's quite likely Naruto will be using sage mode together with kyubi powers. The + eyes displayed in front of Nagato were quite a blatant hint at that potential. http://www.onemanga.com/Naruto/444/04/

^Yeah, I think so. Since Yondaime strengthened the seal during the fight with Pain it looks like the Kyuubi's chakra doesn't leak out like crazy anymore, so Naruto will have better control over it. He might have to dig for the power a bit but that's better than being unable to control it. Plus now that it seems he doesn't throw tantrums anymore and is more matured, I doubt his emotions will give way to the Kyuubi unless something really big happens.

Hey I don't think Kishimoto's being unfair to Naruto in favour of Sasuke. I think that although some of his training arcs weren't entirely planned out well, it always seemed to me that Sasuke was meant to look stronger and be the dominating one while Naruto is the underdog who makes do with what he has and still wins over Sasuke in the end. If you think Sasuke's better off than Naruto...well, Naruto is now the hero of his village, he's got a big power boost (though I agree that it has its downsides), he's really earned Sakura's respect now, and even Madara's weary of what he could do. He's gotten the recognition and acknowledgement he's always wanted since Chapter 1 even if he's not Hokage yet. And Sasuke's now a wanted criminal, he's lost the admiration of most of Konoha and even Sakura knows that he's bad news not, at least enough to try to keep Naruto off his trail (though I think Ino is as insensible as ever) plus Sasuke's even shunned his newest team mates who, despite not being extremely close, still looked out for him pretty well.

Oh and this chapter was great. I was a bit surprised how Killerbee just ripped Kisame's chest open - it really showed me that he's got just that much raw power and energy, and even Kisame took a hit (remember how Gai had to open six gates just to beat him at 30% strength?). But then he healed right up...that sword's really scary. But I think despite all the power Kisame will really have a lot to lose by losing Samehada - only now I don't see how you can separate him. To be honest I don't like his shark form at all, it's just...weird. Humans transforming into things like gorrillas and other humanoid things are fine but a shark is just proportionally different...if Bee dried up all that water maybe things would be better for him.

Can't wait for next week's.

This was a great chapter, not only the main part (kB vs Kisame) but I also liked the talk between Ao and the other Danzo guy.

About Naruto and him beeing an "greenhorn" whne talking about his Kiuubi control, well I don't really see it here the fact that Kishimoto likes more Sasuke than Naruto, the 9tails is the most nasty of the 9 beast (maybe its second to the 10tails, dunno this) therefor for Naruto to control its power, it'll take a lot of time (that he doesnt have, and in the past just training for his RassenShuri and Sage mode was a lot to begin with) and more importantly at Ninja lvl I really dont see him anywhere near Kb (nor in experience and, I also want to belive, that also not in techniques/control in fights, obviously this fact will be confirm if Kb wins or tides against Kisame). By not having this qualities I see it impossible for Naruto to control the 9tails, also it will make me really annoyed if naruto could come from -random 3, 4, 5 months or wte- training and beeing able to control the 9tails like Kb can.

So yeah... as for me I still prefer the Naruto underdog, why? Cuz something that is imperfect has unlimited potential to grow n.n (and I also hate and get really annoyed by the: "Look at me, didnt do shit in the past months but I can still use S-rank techniques way better that the inventors and the only thing I had to do was look them once! cof, cof... Sasuke...)
