Thread: yet another new theory about uchiha massacre

i thought of this last night after watching too many conspiracy theory shows and thought it was pretty plausible all things considered

what we know for a fact:
itachi was A spy in the uchiha for the elders
shisui died several days before shit happened
shisui has obscene hypnosis powers due to his sharingan that is almost impossible to detect
danzo has shisui's eye and apparantly his arm as well
itachi reported to all the third and all three elders, but trusted the third most of all
danzo is a minipulative bastard that is very radical
people distrusted the uchiha after the kyubi attacked, before the uchiha decided to plan the coup
Shisui was itachi's apparant best friend

what everyone ASSUMES:
itachi was the only spy
itachi killed shisui
danzo was only involved for the final order

my theory:
shisui was secretly a spy for Danzo, and was silently instigating the coup to begin with because Danzo didn't trust the uchiha, and shisui was a member of root.
Danzo manipulated things so that not only was Shisui the best friend of the super genius Itachi, but that Shisui manipulated the clan to send itachi into ANBU and plan a coup in the first place to throw off the third and the other elders. After a certain point, itachi found out about Shisui, and shisui in turn found out about itachi knowing about him. That's when Danzo killed Shisui under orders and made it look like Itachi was involved. Then Danzo implanted shisui's eye and convinced the third and the elders for itachi to massacre his clan, assured that Itachi would keep quiet afterwards. Of course he didn't expect sasuke to still be alive and shit happened from there.

It can be tweaked a bit at the end there to be a bit more consistent, but i think that it in general makes alot of sense and explains alot in the storyline.

How did Itachi upgrade his eyes, if he didn't kill his best friend...

ok 2 answers to that
1. he COULD have been there when Shisui was killed by danzo's men, or shisui actually did commit suicide under danzo's orders and the guilt itachi felt triggered the eyes
or
2. he pulled a kakashi and found the secret other way to get the eyes

It could also be that Itachi happened to show up right as Shisui was killed and witnessing his death caused his eyes to awaken which is what occured with Sasuke.

some of what you say are 'facts' we don't know for sure anyway.
Such as that Itachi trusted the third, that there was a Coup d'état, etc. You got that information from Madara who told it to Sasuke while trying to manipulate him. How reliable is that information supposed to be? If this was realism, then that information is extremely unreliable, but since this is probably kishimoto's preferred method or storytelling, it's probably true.

Something else, what happens when sasuke realizes that he was being punked?

I don't think there's another way. Since nobody know what have happedned to Rin after Kakashi gaiden, she could have been killed by Kakashi. Maybe she regretted Obito's death and stated doing expirements on people in hope of creating a jutsu that revivs people, like Orochimaru did

^ I think Kakashi's Kamui is a unique jutsu obtained through sharingan transplant. Don't you think that it's similar to Madara's technique? The only different is that Kakashi can't return the things he warped to the other world. That's probably because he doesn't have sufficient chakra to do so. And that's why he can't use the technique for teleportation.

Well, that's just my theory anyway. We need to see Danzou uses similar jutsu to confirm the truth.

^Transplantation part is interesting, but he still needed Mangekyo to use it. Although it might be a mere coincedence that Madara and Kakashi have similar abilities. Or maybe Sharangan user in theory could have all the powers of it, such as Susanoo, Kamui, Tsukuyomi, Amaterasu and some other that we don't know of, but as Madara said 'It's rare for anyone to awaken Susanoo'. So some focus on mind controlling abilities like Shisui or genjutsu like Itachi or raw power like Sasuke's Amaterasu, it probably mean that Kakashi simply chose to develop space-time jutsu

anyways, the main thing about the theory is that shisui had a bigger part to play than was mentioned in the story. his death caused itachi's clan to openly turn on him and his eye and arm are a part of danzo, plus his sharingan's ability seems way too convenient to have only been used or noticed while in danzo's posession. this is just my theory on what we've been given.
