Sasuke and Kyuubi?
no this is just a show of how evil chakra should be like.

I don't think it's Kyuubi or just evil chackra... I think it have something to do with Geddo Mazzo (I don't know how to spell it...)

1)Sasuke killed all the Samurai. Got any more delusions, Uchihatards? That evil enough for you?

2)Looks like Naruto's finally going to learn about Konoha's shameful past. The knowledge that Sasuke has a (barely) legitimate reason for his hatred should really shake his convictions.

I have three problems with this chapter,

a)While we see Sasuke show off yet another new trick, Naruto still needs a Kagebunshin even for a basic Rasengan. Kishi's really pushing it here.

b)I'm not the only one wondering this: why didn't Naruto answer Madara when he asked about how he changed Nagato? I know it wouldn't work on him, but his new motivation is supposed to be all about understanding his enemies and ending their hatred. It'd be a copout if he suddenly abandoned his principles just because of his obsession with Sasuke.

c)I don't care what anyone says; that 'shadow' behind Sasuke looked too much like the four tailed Kyuubi form for me to not be worried. Either Kishi's intentionally screwing with us(possible) or this foreshadows a crappy revelation about the Fox.

Hahaha Kyuubi my ass more like that sinster chakra that the kyuubi was talking about is forming into it's own god damn Bijuu within Sasuke.

Uhm...yea. I would be confused as hell if that was Kyuubi...and I dunno. It seems way too off to be a simple case of a curse seal level up.

Anyhow, I'm more interested in what Madara has to say and, above all, why he's saying it. He should know that Naruto could potentially wreck his plans, especially if he contacts with Sasuke, so why not just off him when he had the chance?

Cocky? Hrm...not his style. He's always two steps ahead of the game and seems to have the uncanny ability of manipulate people into doing his bidding; inadvertantly or not. Could this be the same? Will Naruto see through it?

They mistranslated Suigetsu's line. He never told Sasuke not to kill, he was complaining about Sasuke telling him not to kill.

What, like Sasuke or Naruto or any other ninja never killed anybody in battle before? Sasuke had already (well, sort of) killed Orochimaru and Itachi I don't think anyone will complain about him killing a few throw-away samurai.
This doesn't make him some unredeemable killer, it just makes him a ninja.

I think Kishimoto could have done a better job at portraying Sasuke as evil. Killing some cannon fodder is no big deal. It would have made a better message if he brushed off killing some innocent people or something.

With a confrontation between Sasuke and the Raikage coming up we can see if Sasuke really has become some all-powerful Mary-Sue. If Sasuke does well I'll be severely disappointed. Mangekyo or not, I don't think he should beat anyone with a kage title.

The thing I don't get is why Sasuke would even think he can take on a room full of Kage's. Must be self-delusion no jutsu.

Okay, as much as I whine and moan I think this arc as potential as long as the damage done is permanent and no one changes personalities thanks to a speech.
I like seeing ninja from other villages and the kage's seem like fun. Danzo has the change to screw with the status quo and that is always a good thing in manga.

Or in a less rambling way: I'm not entirely sure about this arc, but it could be fun if Kishimoto doesn't fall back on his old tropes.

At some point, I remember Jiraiya saying only the Yang of Kyuubi's chakra was sealed inside Naruto. I don't know if that means that lets Naruto use half of the Kyuubi's chakra on a regular basis or if it's somewhere else. Always thought the relationship between the Kyuubi and the Mangekyou was a bit deeper.


Sidharthavicious, I agree, Sasuke should be portrayed as being more evil. Maybe throw in some torture or something before cutting them instead of a quick pointless kills.

The evil presence is Juugo's Demon from when Sasuke absorbed his flesh. yup you heard it here first
