And knowing is half the battle!
Naruto's selfabasement at the altar of Sasuke is really irritating. This episode was almost all packing material for the next chapter.
You know. After reading this i don't really feel that naruto begging for sasuke is as immature as i originally thought. What he is saying sounds a lot more like how the previous hokage (the third i mean) handled things. I can see the relevance between what naruto is saying and how the hyuuga incident was handled (obviously because they showed it to us.)
I like how this chapter pretty much shows the differences in how sasuke thinks compared to naruto. Why is sasuke even doing this? for revenge of his clan, for the suffering he was put through with his brother. All selfish reasons. While Naruto's ideals completely revolve around helping and changing the ninja world for the better. He never asks for forgiveness instead he asks the raikage to see how killing sasuke could spiral into a terrible war.
great chapter IMO, i liked it alot, i thought it was gonna be in full color tho?

for a guy like that, raikage is pretty wise is he not..... then why on earth dis he went trough a window to get out of his own office?
me like the chapter... and me bet there's gonna be a fight between naruto team (sakura and sai included) and the fishhead akatsuki (or any other villain that were left out there) infront of the defeated samui team (they're getting more and more big headed, which me dont like)... and ofcourse naruto team win![]()

Where is the raikage wise? because he spouted some shit about how ninjas shouldnt compromise and that the weak should be crushed and political conflicts should be aggressive? Sry, i dont see him as wise at all. From reading naruto i already know naruto has the ability to change the "inescapable truth of ninjas" the raikage mentioned.
He went through the window because he doesn't like to think very deeply about things, and definitely likes to revert to a show of power to get what he wants (just my opinion) plus he knows just like everyone else that busting through windows is the shit!!!
You know what i think would be really amazing? if sasuke is the catalyst that starts a giant ninja world war. (kind of like what orochimaru wanted) but instead konohagakure with naruto as hokage remain in a state of peace and protected due to naruto's ideals (which would encompass the thirds ideals). And then ultimately i would like to see sasuke killed. yea....or maybe thats just cuz i hate sasuke. yea thats prolly it.
Naruto was just saying 'ooh' the whole time. lol.

Naruto on the middle, Kakashi left, Yamato right.
So the guy on the right side was Yamato, and it was the guard of Raikage who said this. He really mentioned about Yamato who probably had already some stuff to deal with Komo (Hyuga's incident)
About Naruto.
It was not as immature as I would have thought from the spoiler.
Naruto has a request, not killing Sasuke because of his friednship. Killing Sasuke will inevitably mean revengeful thoughts from Konoha to Komo, the exact same feelings that Sasuke is experiencing, which are explaining his actions.
To me, he could argue more and better (as Kakashi suggested it), but the idea is there.
Because he has strictly nothing else to do, and nothing else to give to convince Raikage. More or less that's what I think. To me, it's not emo or gay, that was the only way he could have thought to do this. Powerless
About Raikage's reaction. He gave exactly what Naruto needs, a good kick in the ass. Naruto must face the reality and apologizing is not enough.
Though Naruto's interaction will surely have an impact, when Raikage will understand that Naruto is Jinchuuriki (as his brother), the main target of Akatsuki, and is as strong as he is.
About Sasuke: his look at the end is terrifiyng. Sharingan's killer eye ^^ . No pity for cold blooded murderer
What will Naruto do next? Trying to assist or interrupt the Kage meeting? or going back to Konoha, the tail between his legs?
This chapter was really good, the spoiler made it seem like Naruto burst out and started crying like a little bitch it was far from that, he want's to save Sasuke but in his rant he was talking about trying to stop a war from breaking out. The Raikage on the other hand was talking about showing actons and strength, no compromise between ninjas and wars over ninja techinques. Well it doesn't matter he's gonna get what he wants a war will come.

All this disgust about Naruto's humility towards Sasuke... LOL.
Considering Naruto's strangely persistent face injury and his reverting to his old Sasuke worshipping self I'd just savagely say it's just Kishimoto punishing him for making the readerbase hate his beloved son for his relative selfishness, but more seriously:
1)At least Naruto no longer has any illusions on what kind of person Sasuke is, 'Revenge consumed him and changed him! He's not the same guy I knew anymore!' So no more of that getting angry whenever someone badmouths Jesuke.
2)The Raikage is a wise man in his own way. Though he's more of a realist compared to Naruto's idealism. 'I will kill Sasuke. It's up to you to ensure it ends there.' Good point. There'll only be a war between Konoha and Kumo if the Leaf stands up for Sasuke, which it has no reason to apart from Naruto.
