... does anyone else notice that the tsuchikage (spelling) is sitting next to danzo... the hokage? aren't they... you know, supposed to hate eachother or something?

You know i really despise how sasuke ended up turning out in this story. But sometimes Witcher, since i never know exactly how serious you are. I wonder if you have a little sasuke voodoo doll that you stab repeatedly before going to bed. lol

The reason why naruto still has a reason to use war as an excuse is because while sasuke may have decided to severe ties with konoha it is a sure fact that konoha has not. Why does Tsunade constantly allow naruto and sakura to chase after sasuke? Tsunade always blamed orochimaru for corrupting sasuke. And at the very least. konoha would rather clean up its own mess than having some other ninja village do it. Thats like saying. we are not strong enough to take care of our missing nins please do it for us. Sign of weakness, even something so small can escalate to a war when both bullies don't back down.

War is still a very likely scenario if sasuke is killed by the raikage. There are people who still care about sasuke and if he dies they would take revenge. (sakura comes to mind her actions toward sasuke honestly havent changed much.) And even tho naruto says he doesnt want to kill raikage's men he does say "i don't want to end up killing your men" because he is afraid that his coolness would dissolve into revenge just like sasuke if sasuke is murdered.

^At this point, everybody in the village knows Sasuke betrayed Konoha for power and tried to kill/endangered the lives of Leaf shinobi. It won't be long before they also find out that he's a member of Akatsuki and intends to destroy them. I doubt anyone has any good feelings about him other than Naruto and Sakura. Others were lenient on him(like Tsunade and the younger Chuunins) only for Naruto's sake. But would they fight a war for Sasuke the treacherous murderer? Maybe, just maybe, for Naruto. And he's not the type to lead them into a war. So nobody but Naruto and Sakura.

Your right. Sasuke himself isnt really worth a war. but if sakura attempted revenge and was slaughtered there would definately be a war. It all comes to a simple situation escalating into an all out war. I would say naruto is thinking that deeply about this. (or i would like to believe that.)

Well, I really don´t like Naruto begging, but this is his philosophy now (not begging, peace )!

Konoha would/could/should have a reason to not let Sasuke get killed : His Sharingan Bloodline -> that would be the best argument. Otherwise he really messed up big time. I really don´t know how Kishi wants to handle this...tell us he was manipulated by Madara or whut :-/ ?

Perhaps Naruto will learn to put his Village above of his friend, even if he made that promise to Sakura? But since this is a Shounen, he´ll probably make both things come true xD

Everybody overlooked something important.. The biggest argument Naruto had for forgiving Sasuke was that he was being manipulated by Madara; and that's the reason Kakashi and Yamato took him to the Raikage. And the three dumbasses TOTALLY FORGOT TO TELL HIM THAT FACT!

I don't think it's over. Look at how their meeting ended Witcher. The scene isn't over it just switched off to get other parts of the story filled. I imagine it continues next chapter.

i think other than the akatsuki and sasuke problem, the name naruto gonna come out at the meeting.. and my best bet is that danzo not gonna tell about the madara problem.
what else do you guys think they talk there? any idea.... beside mizukage gonna flirt with garaa

Not a bad chapter. I do agree with BF. This is the second time a spoiler made it seem like Naruto was either gonna get punked or was a punk and that really just is not the case. After reading what everyone was saying, I noticed that no one mentioned one important scenario in this manga...The Eight Tails Is Not Dead!!!

Yea I know it's obvious, but Raikage wants revenge for something that has not happened. It's like everyone is overlooking this small detail when discussing a war breaking out and how it may be Sasukes fault. But in reality if the Eight Tails had brought his ass back to his brother and said "hey I'm good, but we may want to wacth out for this Uchiha kid" then things would be a little different.

And what's killing me is the the Raikages peeps know that his brother is possibly not dead and didn't say anything. So that's two misleads. To me it looks like the real enemy is them. They wanted action for the Huyga (sp) incident which was their fault, and they want accountability for the 8 tail incident, which could be prevented if his people speak up.

Well we'll see how this summit goes.

Yeah, they seem more worried about killing Sasuke than saving Killerbee.

Most predictions have Naruto becoming a missing nin which I honestly don't mind because It'll throw a wrench into Danzo's plans.
